Brexit the economy and house prices part 6

The article above from a Norwegian newspaper today doesn't seem quite so black and white?
Seems an interpretration of what the Norweigian PM actually said. Not that there's much time to agree membership. Everybody will wish to extract their pound of flesh. Something that may well be unpalatable.
PS: In general I find the Times reporting balanced. With viewpoints from across the spectrum.0 -
https://www.irishtimes.com/business/financial-services/barclays-seeking-to-move-250bn-business-to-republic-ahead-of-brexit-1.3680943British bank Barclays will ask the UK’s high court in the coming months to allow it transfer business worth about €250 billion to the Republic as the lender steps up its Brexit preparations.
Barclays has already confirmed that it intends to move its non-UK European business to the Republic from Britain ahead of the country’s planned departure from the EU in March 20190 -

You know how to use google presumably?

Apology accepted.
PS Have you ever travelled on German trains? For your information I visit Germany frequently and do have some knowledge of using its infrastructure.
No apology offered.
If Britain only had problems like Germany.
You will not improve Britain by saying other countries have the same problem.
I live only a few kilometres from Germany so can say again. I see no potholes in German Roads.
The trains continue to run on time and are VERY clean thank you.
The underground in a number of citys are a joy to ride. Can you say that about London? I can not.
Even Berlin has a better underground than London.
If you often travel to Germany you know this but have problems with it and need to criticise it.
When will you Stop diverting the conversation away from Britain. Use that energy to lobby your MP for a BENEFICIAL trade deal with the EU and the rest of the world.

Politicians knew this all along. I find it very sad that so many people have lost interest, but perhaps they hardly had any interest or understanding of what the vote meant in June 2016.
I still say voting for Brexit was the easy bit (even if it was wrong) You now need to pay attention and not be bored by it or, wish they would get on with it, You need to pay attention as it will effect YOUR life, your childrens life, your grandchildrens life. Today and next year decisions are being made because you voted out. You need to know and understand what is being done in your NAME.
Even less people have any interest in the trade deal that negotiations will start on April 1st 2019. What is written in to those trade deals can devastate an industry or not.
Does anyone know what the phrase A good trade deal means
I suspect many think that is what is being negotiated at the moment. It is NOT

Issues with German infrastructure are well documented. Not seeing something personally suggests one lives in a gated community.
Well documented. I just love that phrase.

Interesting that only the Times (behind a paywall) have this story? It seems quite an important issue.

I'm not sure, the equivalence deal lasts as long as the EU is happy that UK regulations are suitably similar, and can be revoked unilaterally with 1 months notice. So whilst it'd allow UK banks to do EU business as it goes now, there's always going to be the risk that the EU can shut them out and I'm not sure many banks will be able to react within 30 days even with plans in place. All it'd take is the UK to make a law change that the EU doesn't like; relaxing some "red tape", and access is gone. That means they'd either need to be prepared to leave at any moment or they'd need to pressure the government to follow EU laws in perpetuity.0
