I think the problem is politicians of both party's not election system. Take Labour trying to edge it's bets and not coming down one way or another.
Yep, very disappointed with Labour sitting on the fence about this life changing decision.
There is no debate, no opposition, so no wonder everyone thinks Brexit is going to be marvellous.
First time in my life I have witnessed a silent opposition in the Commons. OMG. They may as well just join the Tories as it seems to me they all want the same thing.

Will be totally ignored though, Next!0 -
So, about today's march...
Of the 16,141,241 people who voted remain in the referendum, only 5% felt strongly enough to attend.
63,400,000 people (99%) did not participate in today's march in London.
Is something representing 1% of the population really a "people's vote"?0 -

Crikey... The people have spoken.
Shame the elites are trying to subvert democracy with dark money being spent on dodgy propaganda...
https://techcrunch.com/2018/10/19/new-dark-ads-pro-brexit-facebook-campaign-may-have-reached-over-10m-people-say-researchers/A major new campaign of disinformation around Brexit, designed to stir up U.K. ‘Leave’ voters, and distributed via Facebook, may have reached over 10 million people in the U.K., according to new research.
Mainstream Network, which routinely puts out pro-Brexit “news,” could have spent more than £250,000 on pro-Brexit or anti-Chequers advertising on Facebook in less than a year. The agency calculates that with that level of advertising, the messaging would have been seen by 11 million people.
Wonder which Tory Toff's money is behind it?“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

So what percentage of people that opposed the Iraq War attended that march?
Or are you really trying to say only a million people opposed that war and everyone else in the country was right behind it?
By your logic 99%+ of Brits supported Blairs war in Iraq....:rotfl:“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

If sixteen million had turned up it would still be ignored.
But was cathartic for those who attended. And all those who know them, so multiply the numbers.0 -
Still no one prepared to set out the advantages of Brexit.
I'm still waiting....0 -
It is in here if you read down to the bottom. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-45925542 There were a fair number who thought they were there to stop Brexit. Some thought they were there to get another referendum I know of people who thought that. Then there were the ones who were bussed in by the students unions using a donation of £20,000 from the organisers of the march. The organisers didn't care why people were there they only organised it for their own personal gain so that they could tell the media how many people attended. So many people got manipulated just to benefit the personal agendas of the people who organised this march.
Let’s interrogate your views
Sure, there were people with different views about whether a second referendum was the best alternative. But the shared intention was to object to Brexit as currently configured by Government and to demand a voice in that outcome.Ideally that would be left to Parliament, but our governing body is letting us down by refusing to address the contradictions in the choices to be made.So let’s put it to a vote
I’m sure pro Brexit organisers could organise separate demos for those in favour of Efta/Eea ,Chequers,Canada,Canada plus and WTO crash out,and then we might have visibility for popular support of those options..
I was there, for the reasons set out above. It was a good natured event by people concerned for ther future and their descendants future.Downright silly suggestions that we were manipulated into makiing the protest have to be ignored. Those who corralled the protest, which was largely a joint efforts on social media, had no personal gain to be made.0 -

You see I thought that the protest was about a second referendum because that is what the media said it was about. They were wrong and I was wrong. The demonstration was about getting a vote on the deal for Brexit not another referendum. How could that happen? Did it get hijacked by another group who wanted a second referendum? I have no idea but what I saw on the BBC website and heard on the ITV news was about a second referendum vote but this was not mentioned as the intention of the protest.
The unfortunate outcome of this was that probably the vast majority of the people there didn't know what they were demonstating for. This makes a very good case for them not voting in a deal on Brexit. If they can't even get the reason for a demonstration correct we don't want them voting on anything important.0
