  • Oh we are debating on going ahead with our 6 nights over NYE in NY.
We are just sitting tight and hoping it gets better, if it does not we are just going to give up the flights as it will be far too expensive at a pants rate.
    :naughty:
  • Hi All,
Can any1 advise where is the best place to change money to foreign.
I am looking at buying USD for my trip to New york.
Will i be best buying them there, is there anywhere any1 can reccommend and places to keep away from.
I have looked at a site called, www.xe.com They have good uptodate rates but not fully sure if it is for what i need or for people constantly trading in Forex.
    Any advice is much appriciated.
    Thanks.

If you are planning ahead and have time before you go try www.crowncurrencyexchange.co.uk I went to New York last month with $2 dollars to the £ although I secured these a few months ahead.

  • I'm just debating how to order my currency for NY. It's actually my son going and I was going to order travellers cheques but it seems you have to pay an extra fee when you purchase them and then when you exchange them at the bank ? Also hes 17 so I don't know if he could use a prepaid card :-s
