I'd go for it if I were you.
I've been keeping track of the dollar and last week it was 1.51 and on Monday it dropped to 1.49 so I changed all of my holiday money because I was afraid it was going to drop! And to be fair, all the advice I had got from people indicated that it's going to get worse so I thought I'd cash in now.
But I've checked today and it's jumped up to 1.55 which I'm gutted about! Over a considerable amount of pounds which I've changed, that's a massive difference!
Dont beat yourself up about it. Just think how bad you'd be feeling if it had dropped lower.0 -
well the usa has cut its rates by .50%.
thats quite a cut and we will now see the dollar start to fall at least for a while against sterling. basically investers will pull away from the dollar as a cut signifies that things are not going well with the US economy.
the states will also publish their growth rates tomorrow and every one expects there to be a negative growth. this will also help sterling for the short term:beer:0 -

Could I ask a favour.......to all......when you post a rate, could you post where it has been found, so we can all share the rates if we want to?
Thanks in advance.

most casinos and some hotels in vegas gives you a better rate (prob cus they want you to lose it there too) so for people that are going vegas may decide to take some sterling and exchange it there. Not too sure how that will weigh up now as the currencies have weakened but may be worth looking into?0

Would truely appreciate some feed back.
