    Got a "mystery customer" assignment tonight so checking the place out.

    It's great being a mystery customer. You get paid for moaning... and have a night in a posh hotel and a good feed

  • [12:39 GBP/USD: Buoyed by Better-Than-Expected US Retail Sales] London, March 12.

    Cable leapt by more than a quarter-cent to a high of 1.3836 in a knee-jerk
    reaction to the disclosure that US February retail sales only fell by 0.1% last
    month, compared to a forecast decline of 0.5%. January retail sales were also been upwardly revised to +1.8%, from +1.0% previously.

    US weekly jobless claims rose to 654k in the week ending March 7, from an upwardly revised 645k in the week ending February 28. 644k was the forecast number (for the week ending March 7).

    Sterling resistance levels include 1.3888 (yesterday"s high), 1.3925 (today"s Asian session top), 1.3958 (March 2 low), 1.3985 (double-day low, March 3 & 4) and 1.4000. 1.3725 was today"s European morning intra-day low (plumbed on the back of GBP/JPY selling). 1.3655 was yesterday"s six-week low. 1.3500 was January"s 24-year low (Jan 23).
