Bellagio fountains (or is this a show?) :)
Outlet at the north part of town for shopping
    The Lions in the MGM
Freemont street at night (it's old school - bit rough, be careful not to wander too far away)
People watching - watch people gambling! I've seen people lose $10k on the turn of a card.

    some more extras...
The food! Bellagio buffet is awesome.
Ohh.. Lake Mead - just outside vegas. Hire a speedboat for a couple of hours! (not as expensive as you'd think!)
just walk along the strip and around the casinos. the free shows are awesome. there are the sirens of treasure island. the volcano at mirage (so so).

    Thanks for that!:T
Got the Bellagio fountains on the 'to do' list (don't count it as a show if you don't have to buy tickets for it!)
Not sure about Fremont St, have heard it's great but a bit dodgy - slightly concerned as daughter with us.
planning to do lots of walking around the strip and the hotels - they look awesome
Anything free is good (especially if the $ rate stays at its current level!)
2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shading
Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the end
    MFW #4 OPs: 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07
    2021 £1250.00, 2022 £1500.00, 2023 £1500, 2024 £1350
    2025 target = £1200, YTD £9190

all these trips sound amazing. i need to do one again!
if, please no, i don't get my visa i've got a free companion ticket with BA. I'll use 100,000 miles for a business class seat and get the free companion and fly to San Fran.
    Then drive away!!

seems to be hanging around the high 1.37's at the moment :(

All you people going to Vegas - you do realise that if you win the £ will recover, wiping out all your winnngs!

Have made the decision today that we will do Knotts Berry Farm, San Diego Zoo and Sea World - we've got two children with us aged 13 and 10. On my list of things to do in Vegas is the chocolate factory and M & M world. Just hoping that the £ recovers so we can afford to do lots of shopping.

Sea World is must for us - daughter is Orca mad, that's what has prompted our two trips to Florida - whales! not The Mouse!

    freemont street - it's a must see!
just follow the crowds. if it starts to thin out then head back to where you came from!
there are thousands of people around so you'll be ok.

there are free shows everywhere you go.
circus circus i believe has free shows but not seen any. went in the casino and your feet stick to the carpets.. so we made a rapid u-turn!!

if you're a little bit of a gambler sign up for the slot clubs. free to join and you get $20 to spend in machines.
i joined about 6 of them and won about $400 with the $120 i got! happy days!

Shouldn't really have a problem with your visa though surely......... I though if it was a transfer for work it would just be a formality?

Will bear that in mind about Fremont Street, thanks for the tip.

Sticky carpets!?! Yuk! Glad I'm not staying there!

Can't imagine we'll have a chance to gamble, freely or otherwise, daughter is 13 so imagine we'll be 'moved along' if we try to linger.
