    Thanks for the birthday wishes, I had a lovely day and a busy weekend so I'm just catching up on here quickly now.

    Our present budget things are working really well, especially with some sale bargains I've picked up over the last couple of months!
    Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000
    Initial Mortgage free date - January 2058
    Mortgage as of 1st February 2024 - £159,134.98
    Overpayments to date - £79.62
    Current Mortgage free date - January 2058
  • gaaaaaaaaaaaaah my own christmas spreadsheets are confusing me now because they're all reliant on having the debt paid off by end of november. I'm stressing myself out aaaaaaaaaah!

    I think we have just about sorted out our xmas budget:

    Me - £30 on book and dvd
    OH - £30 on book and dvd

    DS1 - Guitar amp £40
    PS2 game - £22
    Wii game - £30
    Total = £92

    DD - toy sewing machine - £20
    Nintendo ds game - £15
    Wii game - £20
    Hairdryer - £15
    High School Musical puzzleball - £10
    + stocking bits - £20

    Total = £100

    DS2 - Toy space rocket - £24
    CD player - £10
    Headphones - £5
    Wii game - £20
    + Stocking bits - £20
    Total - £79

    Total xmas budget = £331 wow that seems like a lot now!:eek:

    We aren't buying for anyone else in the family apart from Mil and Fil but we aren't seeing them until the new year so I'll buy something for them in the sales:o

    I've been Money Tipped!
    I guess that's why they're a millionaire!! My dad and step-monster are like that. They have tons of money (lots of inheritances etc) and have always been really well off but they buy the cheapest of everything and begrudge every penny. Does it make them happy? Nope, bitter and twisted and envious of other people...why??

    funny insnt it my brother is also a millonaire and a grumpy old sod too he lives on a farm what he dosnt farm:confused: and dosnt let any one vist him famley inculded in case we going to mug him of his money my brothers and sisters are always trying to get in contact with him offering to do stuff for him yet he wont have nothing to do with them me i leave the old git to it if he want to be a moany twit then let him :rotfl: money dosnt always mean your happy
