Is "misinformed" a polite way of saying deluded?

    From his latest posts, yes.

Yes I'd vote Trump if I was in America. He's on the way to cleaning up their country.

And no, laws are not fact, they're all interpreted, this is why we have lawyers arguing for months in cases.

^^^ No point trying to talk sense to this one, guys, he's a lost cause.

Although, there is a certain irony in someone who so clearly supports right wing ideals complaining about a garage's right to operate their business as they see fit.

Free market & all that, old boy....

Suddenly there was a huge roar. "Who's that trip trapping over my bridge"; and out from under the bridge loomed the Troll.

Yes there would. I supplied the part, the part failed. The supplier of the part is at fault.

And if the supplier of the part claims that the only reason it failed was due to incorrect installation. what then?
If the garage supplied and fitted the part then this wouldn't be a consideration as any failure would be down to them irrespective of whether the item failed due to a manufacturing defect or installation error.

I don't want the garage to do it for free, I wish to pay them a reasonable labour charge. The new garage I now use charges by the hour and doesn't markup on parts. I pay them for what they do, not random amounts of money added onto reselling an item for four times it's price.

Well part of the reason the high street is on it's knees is people like you have cut out any profit the business may make.
In the short term, it might benefit you but in the long term it hammers entire towns

Just what is it you don't like about my seatbelt comment? A quote from a policeman who once stopped me for not wearing one - "At the end of the day you're only endangering yourself". The law should never EVER protect me from myself. It's to protect people from OTHER people.

Yeah, that's fine. If you don't want to wear a seatbelt it's your choice, you're only endangering yourself.

Of course, if you happened to be in an accident and were only horribly maimed rather than killed, it's not like you'd be expecting the NHS to spend societies resources picking up the pieces right?

ROFLMAO, funniest thing I've heard for ages. I can guarantee you that you're not paying trade prices for parts even when they show you a receipt. When I buy car parts from Halfords using my trade card I get two receipts, one for the price I paid, one for the retail price they charge to show the customer if they ask.

I pay as little as £5 for brake pads, as little as 50p for sidelight and brake light bulbs, £3.50 for wiper blades....you?

This is the most entertaining thread in a while. I haven't seen as much bullcarp spoken by an OP in some time.
