Could you try logging on with a work phone - as that might help show if there's a wider problem. I kept being disconnected yesterday - even when my personal laptop had constant internet.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

We don't have work phones unfortunately. My laptop is ancient so I don't think that's helping. We couldn't have upgrades last time they were dishing them out as one of our old programmes is prehistoric and wouldn't work on a new laptop. That's sorted now so fingers crossed I'll get a newer one soon. I might try to work downstairs on Monday so I'm closer to the router & see if that helps. Only problem with that is I'll be in plain sight of DC3, so I might not get much done anyway!2

Hope you get your work laptop sorted soon. The upgraded ours at the end of August and the network - and it made a huge differenceAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Oh my goodness...what a busy weekend! We've spent 2 days crafting, creating, selling products, arranging collections, and making deliveries. I'm going to work tomorrow for a break!
I also had an 0lio collection yesterday. Managed to share lots of it, and top up our freezer with a few bits. I still have a box full of cucumbers though, even after getting rid of 16! Somebody kindly gave me a cucumber chutney recipe, so I need to find some time to make some of that.3 -
Pickled cucumber is also lovely and lasts forever. don't have a recipe I am afraid. Our friend gave us so much in 2018 we only finished eating it this Christmas. Thinly sliced with peppercorns and some herbs/salt etcI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine4 -

It's my day off today, which actually means a day of making deliveries and crafting new items for the business. A couple of family members have mentioned they'd be interested in investing in us so that we can purchase another machine (or two) to start engraving etc. DH is excited by the idea, but I want to give it a bit more thought before biting their hands off.
If anyone is interested in personalised gifts, wants to give us a like/share on FB or insta, or just wants to have a nosey at what we do, PM me for a link 😀1 -
I wouldn't expand too quickly. Need to ensure have enough sales to justify itAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thank goodness it's the weekend - I'm wiped out! I've been feeling a bit unwell that last few days, but I think it's probably exhaustion. Even when I have 5 minutes to myself, I'm struggling to switch off. I might need to start carrying a note book round with me/leaving one next to my bed so that when I have a creative idea I can write it down then stop thinking about it.
We've only got 1 outstanding order at the moment, and can't make it until we receive a delivery, so I should be able to chill out a bit over the weekend. Having said that, FIL has bought us a piece of machinery (we intend to pay him back from future profits) and that's due to arrive tomorrow, so I'm sure we'll spend some time experimenting with that.
We've had some feedback from the company stocking our items and they've had 4 orders in the first 24 hours. In their words, 'Impressive'. They've also expressed an interest in stocking our new range once production is up and running, so it's all looking good.
I'm feeling a bit fed up in my 'proper job' at the moment. We're undertaking a huge task, on top of our normal work, and feeling very unappreciated by management. They've asked us to do overtime so I'm going to clock in for a few hours on Sunday so I can at least claim it at time and a half to make it worthwhile.
I've had a message from 0lio to say my collection slot has been claimed by a charity. It was good while it lasted, but probably good timing for me to give it up. It was taking up my entire Saturday evening and that's time I could better spend elsewhere right now. I'll miss my 10% allowance, but I'll just revert to checking out the yellow sticker bargains to top up my freezer.5
