In other news, I've re-sorted the bin bags from that garage that the charity collectors didn't take. 2 bags of books gone to a primary school teacher, and a bag of books and toys going to DC3s childminder. I've got 2 bin bags of clothes to go in the clothes bank in nearby car park, and 2 carrier bags full of stuff to sell.
Yellow sticker beef (75p) in the slow cooker and smelling delicious. I'll put some potatoes and Yorkshire puds (made with 22p ys eggs
) in the oven to go with it and maybe a cake for pudding.

£15 item sold and collected today. Will give the other items a few more days on Fbook then list elsewhere. Also got loads more still to list.
Managed a £12 prolific survey today. It was boring and felt like it would never end, but I'd do it again for £12.3 -
Good amount of money for a survey. Well done on the sales tooAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

A £5 survey today too. Don't think I've had such high paying ones before.2

The last week's been really busy. It was DC2s 12th birthday last week so I spent a lot of time baking and constructing a monstrous chocolate cake, wrapping presents, inflating balloons, and generally trying to make it the best day we could under current circumstances. We also had our new furniture delivery so played a game of changing rooms, moving lounge furniture to the bedroom, our bedroom furniture to DC2, DC2s furniture to DC3... I've also done a bit of upcycling to our 'new' bedroom furniture (a £9 tin of paint to brighten it up), and had a good tidy up and clear out of DC2 & DC3s bedrooms. I've made 2 trips to the clothes bank and decluttered some of DC3s old toys and books to his childminder. I've also made good progress listing items for sale and have sold items for £2, £20, and £60 over the last few days.
I've been making a conscious effort to make some time for myself and stop things getting on top of me. I'm trying to eat healthier and I've been dedicating around half an hour each evening to yoga. I've lost around a stone since starting but would like to lose at least another half stone. I've also been trying to use up lots of lotions and potions to look after my skin better - in particular my hand which are really suffering from constant washing and sanitising.
I've booked to get my hair cut tomorrow. It should only cost around £10 and will come out of the selling money before I pay that into savings. I've still got some more items listed for sale and getting occasional interest in them so hopefully some more sales soon. I've got a few more bedroom items to paint to match the 'new' drawers and a bit more decluttering to do in our bedroom to get it looking a bit cosier.5 -
Glad to hear things are going well for you! Decluttering is so great but so time consuming so I'm just trying to stop buying c*ap in the first place but it doesn't always happen. Lol. I've just had my third and I have no idea how you cope tbh.

Congratulations on your latest arrival. It's hard work at times with 3, but DC1 is 12 years older than DC3 and is like a second mummy to him. She's been a real help these last few months, especially when I've been working from home. Having said that, she's just come to tell me that she's got nothing to wear for school tomorrow (they're not to wear uniform just now) and can I put a wash on...AAARRGGGHHH KIDS!!!!3 -
I can 100% relate to people dropping off their clutter on you. My mum gave be their old shower head a few weeks ago "just in case I needed it" (I know! She's trying to be helpful though) so that was interesting.Debts: ASDA Loan - £6,848.01

I’ve also been a bit cheeky requesting some free samples of baby food as DC3 has allergies (waiting for tests to confirm what he’s actually allergic to) and meal times are trial and error at the moment. So far I’ve had £4 of baby food vouchers, £20 supermarket vouchers, and another supermarket have promised to send something.3
