BW Legal 'Letter Of Claim'

I've read through the main thread but am a little confused so please bear with me as I couldn't see anything about a 'Letter of Claim'.
Have received one from BW Legal recently, detailing potential court fees etc. If payment or a response isn't received soon they'll issue a claim in the County Court. But if I dispute the claim (which I do), I need to contact them.
I appealed this originally with the car park owner but it was rejected.
Should I get in contact with BW Legal? If so, what should I say exactly. If not, what are the next steps?
Thanks in advance.

Budgeting and using referral codes have been a game changer, I no longer pay for my dog's food.

Here it is https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=64350585&postcount=20 -
Thanks for replying.
Deadline is within 30 days.
Fees are:
Principal debt + Initial Legal costs: £160
estimated interest: £10
estimated court fees: £25
estimated solicitors fees: £50
Total:£245
PPC = NCP
Got back to the car on time, then had to breastfeed my 4 month old baby which took me over. I'm livid that NCP rejected my appeal, totally heartless. What else was I to do?Building my kids' savings from day one. Education and consistency are key to financial control.

Heartless? May also be illegal.
Sorry. Seen the above. It was unlawful in that is was a breach of the Equality Act. A business cannot discriminate against mothers who are breastfeeding a child of any age. The Equality Act 2010 has specifically clarified that it is unlawful for a business to discriminate against a woman because she is breastfeeding a child.
The question is
a) Was the breastfeeding / nursing mother mentioned to NCP and did they ignore it.
b) Was the information about your protected characteristics passed onto BW Legal and they ignored it
c) What do you want to do about it?This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
You need to see what they respond with once you've sent the response I linked to.0

The principal debt is £100. and the extra £60 is no
doubt debt collector fees which they cannot claim for
Did you receive letters from DRP (Debt recovery plus)
Don't be surprised that NCP rejected your appeal, it's
all part of the scam
You do have rights as a breast feeding mum and someone
on here will tell you why
Within you reply, you must ask for a breakdown of the £160
Whilst waiting for other replies, tune in to BWLegal
as they get whooped in court often and a judge
would probably give them another whooping in your case

a) Yes, this was the reason stated in our appeal. They rejected it.
b) Sorry, what's 'protected characteristics'? I've not been in contact with BW Legal, not sure what NCP passed on to them, but nothing about the initial appeal appeared in their letters.
c) Have it all go away. I'm not sure what my options are exactly.Building my kids' savings from day one. Education and consistency are key to financial control.
