Defendant response deadline extended by 14 days

Cheque sent today bang on the 14 day extension to settle claim.
Well when I say sent I mean we’ve got an email with a pdf of it as sent to the court...

That’s what I told the missus too
Not quite. They offered a further settlement which to get it sorted without the PITA of going to court we were happy with.

What’s the betting the cheque will have been lost in the post, then they will “investigate” this and blah blah blah for a month longer still?
