Why is it that so many mums want an SUV to take the kids to school these days. Is it purely down to ease of access for child seats...or is it just "trendy"??

When it comes to the worst drivers in the land, our data shows a profile of a white Audi-driving man in his early 20s. He more than likely works as a project manager and has no children.

In The Olden Days, the worst driven cars were always the repmobile Fords. Presumably the sort of drivers that gave Fords that reputation now have Audis?I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

In Ye Olde Days - the rep drove what the company gave him (usually was him) and aspired to move up the grades to get a better one. I suspect that more and more companies are now outsourcing the fleet operations or offering an allowance so the employee chooses what they can get for the money. So the canny and cautious MSE type looks for the best comfort/value combination (Skoda Superb perhaps?) and the sphincter goes for the blingiest/loudest combination they can)In The Olden Days, the worst driven cars were always the repmobile Fords.
