I checked PC settings for Drivers and it said one was advised - I clicked install and that one downloaded directly from Windows.

Both EveryWhere's and your link, debitcardmayhem took me to the same site. I'll try again and try to copy the address bar and post back - just in case, thanks. - This is the link, if the copy and paste has worked:

Indeed there was no need to download anything from that page. it was just pictorial guide to discovering which Driver was needed.
Has your Unknown Device notification gone away?0 -

Has your Unknown Device notification gone away?
No - I'm afraid it has not gone away and now the Logitech icon there also has the same 'Unknown Device notification.
If Toshiba and the Logitech Mouse are both working, is there any need to do any more?
I'll go back to your link, not download anything, and read it thoroughly, thanks.
Edit at 6.05 pm - I followed the instructions and have something to work on (Google):
Toshiba RFBUS Driver The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
on Bluetooth USB Controller-12 from TOSHIBA
Bluetooth\TosCompatibleRfbdr
Logitech Cordless Device The drivers for this device are not installed (Code 28)
There are no compatible drivers for this device.

You should use a Browser with a built-in Ad Blocker, such as https://www.opera.com or https://www.epicbrowser.com or install an appropriate ad-bolcking extension to Firefox, such as https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/
That's why we don't see the green button that you mention.0 -

The article shows you how to find and copy the hardware ID and use it to find out which Driver we need.
What's the full model number of the Logitech?0 -

Logitech model number is M325, thanks. - There are no compatible drivers for this device.

The link for the 'Toshiba' Toshiba RFBUS Driver The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

Bluetooth\TosCompatibleRfbdr
Showed up a lot of Google links - I'll need to look carefully to see what I have to choose to download - safely as there are so many options to download from.
Edit at 7 pm - Even with the number/s - I have not been able to find a download to match
TOSHIBA
Bluetooth\TosCompatibleRfbdr. If I can manage without these two drivers - that would be OK with me. I am very pleased (really delighted) with my very much faster, wholly improved Toshiba laptop.
Unless you think I am missing anything really important I am very happy with things now. The amount of time and effort mostly you, EveryWhere, and some others have given is hugely appreciated.
I can smile now - but when I came home after lunch, logged on and found Firefox in a foreign language, tried (eventually successfully) to uninstall it, not knowing how to read what was in the boxes I was to tick to uninstall - well (exaggeration) it nearly finished me off!
What do you think - as you have done all the work and support - OK to accept things as they are now vastly improved - thank you ++++++? Please let me know what you think.
Thank you very much.

Download and install.
I ran into a problem, EveryWhere. The Logitech link went smoothly and the warning triangle against it in devices and printers disappeared.
I went on to use the other link about Bluetooth and followed the download and install with no obvious problems. I was asked to restart the computer (I'm on the Dell Laptop just now) and a Blue window came up 'Recovery' saying that it looks like Windows didn't load correctly. I tried to Restart and the same blue window came up again.
I only just managed to copy in tiny print from the blue screen:
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL - but I wasn't quick enough to read the other tiny print.
By choosing Advance Options I managed to get the Toshiba 8.1 (all in Danish) and to the Control Panel. It was a 'trial and error' struggle but I seem to have managed to change the language back to English from the Control Panel in Danish.
It's after 11.30 pm and I'll stop for now - feeling much more positive about the position with my Windows 8.1 Toshiba. I'll know more tomorrow but is has been good to see no warning triangles against anything in devices and printers.
Thanks so much, again, for all your help.

I switched on the Toshiba L830 this morning and the first window was in what I think is Danish - Velkommen ? 'Welcome'
I keyed in my password and was taken to the normal pages - all in English. I've just checked and it is running Windows 8 - not 8.1.
I did not do this intentionally. Although I don't know how this happened I think it relates to the 'Blue Screen.' I'm just glad, now, to have access to the laptop because, at first yesterday evening, it was impossible to get past the Blue Screen.
Understandably I am eager to have everything in English again as it is extremely difficult for me to follow Control Panel instructions if not in English - mostly guessing! At least it is partially resolved at present.
All is not lost - I still have a working laptop and can look at it all again when I get back home this afternoon - going out in about 10 minutes or so. I'll need to go back and read the earlier posts to see what is best to do - and check what EveryWhere advises.
