Happy birthday for tomorrow 🎂

Thank you Honeysuckle started my birthday off early outside in the torrential rain and wind with DS trying to lift the trampoline back up, was strapped up but had tipped over and is broken. Was quite hard work as it is so heavy! Spent the rest of the day not doing much until we had DS's meeting. My only post was a leaflet for funerals, just to remind me I'm another year closer 😕😂. 

Took DD with me to work today and then we popped up some bags of stuff to a drop off point for people needing help due to the floods, so many people have been affected locally .

Thanks Jwil. Yes it was the hen do this weekend. It was fine. Would have been better if it had been rearranged. My sister works in the hospital and they've all been wiped out this week with a bug 🤢 so quite a few couldn't come and my sister kept saying she felt sick 😷. She missed the train so I went to meet my sister in law, who was travelling on her own whilst the others waited. Then slowly but surely all the trains back started to get cancelled, so we ended up having to catch the train at 9 o'clock 😆 we was warned it might not actually get us back, but luckily it did although the rain was leaking through the train roof. Ah well, least I can say I went and was back home asleep by half 10 🤣.

The storm has hit us bad, most roads are impassable due to floods and trees down. Houses down the road have had the rescue boats to get them out of their houses. It's still absolutely torrential out there and more warnings for the coming days 😖. DS has an appointment booked for tomorrow but all trains are still cancelled and at the moment all roads are shut so doubt we will be able to get there.

Had some lovely birthday presents so far off my family and friends who won't see me tomorrow. Lots of nice gifts, money and chocs. Best friend has bought me a family heritage pass, will be great for some free days out 😃

Jwil, I haven't forgotten we are birthday twins 🤗 hope you have a lovely day tomorrow 🎁🎊.

Wow to those photos.  I hope it's all clearing a bit.  Everything is so wet, there is nowhere for the water to go!

Thanks both. Some of the local areas have been badly hit with floods 🙁 those photos are down the road from me but it's a lot worse elsewhere. Lots of offers of help though which is lovely to see. I have offered to help with clean up next week if needed once they are back at school, have donated clothes and food, wish I could do more. 

I had best friend and her girls over today, which was lovely and then my brother turned up and has taken DD to sleep over at his tonight as he has a few days off, so she was very excited about that and means she isn't stuck in work with me tomorrow. He also gave me chocs and rum 😛 for my birthday.

Sorry for all the pics, but the new forum is so easy to add them 😆 this is one of our favourite spots for a walk, it's very much at risk now 😥.

🤞🤞 BB50. I actually feel like a nervous wreck most days 😖 but always trying to focus on the things we have to be grateful for. My sleeping as been atrocious and I have been having the most bizarre dreams when I do get to sleep, something to talk to the doctor about next week. 

My best friend bought DS a bracelet today that you can drop essential oils onto to help with anxiety as she had read such good things about them. There are two, so she told me to have one too. Apart from smelling like my nan, I cannot say if they will help 🤣.

I have really struggled with everything that has happened over the last year and I know the next few months are going to be hard so trying to take sometime to myself and get my head around it all.
