Well done on your Prolific surveys KM. I know what you mean about swagbucks. It seems a lot of work for not much reward at the moment.
Your weekend away sounds lovely.
I have shoppix. I find it quite easy to use although I forget to upload receipts. They have frequent short surveys (1 or 2 minutes) which give a few points and you get scratch cards where you can earn extra points. I have only redeemed once for £5 since I joined in December 2017 but just looking through the app I have only uploaded 19 receipts and I have definitely been shopping far more than 19 times in 7 months :rotfl: Must try harder!
So thats your challenge for next month young lady!! Get them receipts uploaded and get the extra we cant make on swagbucks.
I also joined shopprize. I figure if I have to save receipts for shop and scan I may as well up load them to a couple of other apps at the same time.
Will see how it goes. As long as it doesnt take as long as the pig one :rotfl:Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600 -
Will do my best! Should be able to get it done while I am on summer hols from school. Is Shoprize the Android only one? I seem to remember that Aesop said it was good. I have an iPhone but I think I did download the app onto an old android phone but didn!!!8217;t get any further.
I have a couple more bits to add. £17.50 nectar points used to pay for petrol and 46p interest from chip.

Not sure if its only android as android is all I have ever used.
Nice saving on petrol with the nectar points!! I save mine for their once a year double up thing..(think its Oct/Nov time) and can be used on all sorts of things....wine/ toys/ clothes/ home stuff.
I try to use it on the home section getting any pots, cookware, towels I am feeling need replacing. I never seem to have spare money for these things through the year so is a godsend.
Update on the hole in the wall fiasco. It has been put back into our account today. Phew. Sooner than expected so well done Nationwide :TMake £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600 -
Good to hear a bank is on the ball. I seem to have had nothing but trouble with banks lately!
I have to pay a cheque in to our business account today. Both the local branches have closed so it’s a bit of a trek and an unfamiliar area. We have told all our customers that we no longer accept cheques but they just ignored us

Morning
A bit extra from my DD this month, a bit extra from my DS this week and I got paid for my Saturday job.
It brings my total up up to £145.66/£310. Nearly half way there.
I posted my books off yesterday and I'm still getting ridiculous shpock offers, so who knows how this could end!0 -
Have a few things to cash out on but this weather is making me so lethargic. At work today so will sort it all tomorrow.
£15.40 tips to add though.Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600 -
Morning all!
Re Shoppix, if you upload your receipts on the day you spend you get an extra 5 points per receipt. It soon adds up.
I'm still waiting on hearing about the £200 I should get from Nationwide referrals but they are usually very good. I have three referrals left at £100 each for me and the switcher so am hoping to use this as I did last year to pay bits off. I'm doing the same with Bulb (must write a blog post!) as anyone who switches over with your referral earns £50 on their energy account and so do you. I only recommend and refer to things I truly believe in or have used and liked so hopefully these two will help for future challenges.
I'm adding £105 from extra work to the challenge. I'm freelance/self-employed and have a FT set target for earning each month which I always meet. Anything over that (i.e ad hoc pieces) are extra and go to pay or save.
Still getting our head around the whole monthly pay thing after years of weekly but the husband loves his new job and it's better money and a shorter drive there and back so it's a win all around.
I hope everyone is doing well and am thinking of those of you who have been struggling for various reasons xMSE-ing since 20070 -
Hey all, checking into this challenge as I'm doing the 1% challenge and struggling. I want to make just over £1800 extra by Christmas so, when added to my monthly debt repayments, I am debt free by Christmas.
I'm technically in 'August' due to how my pay and I budget.
I've sold around £650 of my belongings so far this year and am now running low on easier to sell, higher money items... I've made £53.04 So far this month from webuybooks and now loosing a bit of motivation. I've cleared another draw, just odd unused cards which I will picture and put on ebay for a few pounds.
I've signed up to a lot of survey sites, but places like prolific are not accepting new applicants at this time. I'm going to have another hunt on this tonight.
I'm debating signing up to the receipt scanning apps. Are there any top recommendations?19/12/14: Spent 10 years of savings!!
:heart2: ..... to buy my first home. :heart2:

Thanks for that Nicki.....didnt know that. Still getting the hang of both the apps. Think I'm preferring shopprize at the moment. Shoppix I'm finding it harder to snap the receipt so it is fully visible. Will persevere with both though. Will be interesting to see which one cashes out first as I started both together.
Totally agree with Nationwide. They have the best customer care out there. I love their online banking. so easy to use and have mortgage with them as well so makes it easy to overpay.
Still not sorted my things I need to cash out on but have another £4.70 tips to add.Husband has been doing some work for someone and been paid a decent amount of cash so I am biding my time to ask him if we can use some of it to make up my shortfall for next £500 over payment on the mortgage.

I moved to bulb recently and have had one referral from mse. I am very pleased with them so far. Don’t think I will be switching banks again for a while as have moved twice recently. I am now with Barclays who don’t have the best customer service record but have been ok so far

Sounds good. Well done hubby :T
