Thanks , I've just joined and used your referral link :) - free jar of Nutella for joining, I wouldn't buy any of the other stuff they have offers on at the moment but I'll keep looking :D

We joined bulb last year, I agree about helping smaller companies and their green ethos too - very impressed, they did say their prices are going up in August but not too much I hope!
I had a clear out of books and DVDS and I've got orders with Music Magpie, Ziffit and Zapper en route. there's always the odd thing they reject but hopefully most of it will go through!

Great thread, I'd love to join in (a bit late in the month I guess!) I've made 60p comparing pet insurance so far today :)

Ah, thank you for using my link. The offers do vary quite a bit - some things I don’t even know what they are :rotfl: but there are quite often staples too.

Welcome to the thread. I hope that Kantankrus Mare and I will start the August thread this evening and will post the link on here so you can sign up. Well done on your clear out - hopefully that will get you off to a good start :T

I also only count cashback when it!!!8217;s in my account and vouchers when I spend them (in case I forget to) My only exception to this is amazon vouchers as I use them all the time and they last ten years so I add these when I add them to my account.

I have been feeling a bit under the weather this week. A combination of stress, the heat, being busy and either a cold or hay fever. Any way I slept until 1.30pm today! Couldn!!!8217;t believe it was that late and I had missed a whole morning! I do feel better for it though and I suspect that the rain and cooler weather overnight had a lot to do with it.

Just dropping in to congratulate all of you who have made any extra money in July so far:beer:. It's nice to see some new people joining, I hope you have a lot of success and find some new and interesting money making ideas:j

Well done to the stalwarts who have kept the thread going:T. You are stars:A

I've had a very spendy and stressful few weeks:eek:. Lots of big appliances have 'died' within days:mad:. The last straw was late Saturday night when I opened the fridge-freezer to find pools of water in both sections and a lot of the contents totally melted. The only thing still mostly frozen was a big pork joint so I thawed it out and we ate a lot of it last night. Hasn't killed us, we both feel OK and I've made some sandwiches with a lot of what was left. A real luxury for us, roast pork sandwiches at lunchtime, but I don't want to keep it hanging around for too long. I've got a very small camping fridge I've been using but it's laughably small. Even the big bottles of milk in the 'old' fridge didn't feel at all cool to the touch. Needless to say a lot of stuff got binned because I've no idea how long it was like that. We'd been out since dawn on Saturday and didn't even open it to get milk out to make a cup of tea since Friday night so it could have been 'dead' since then. OH refuses to make a claim on the insurance for the spoilt food because of the policy excess and the fact that he reckons the premiums always go up once a claim has been made:(.

I've ordered a new one from AO and it's coming today:j. I just checked when I bought the 'old' one, it was about 1996:o. Still looked OK though but obviously ready for the knacker's yard:rotfl:. It and me both:eek:. Where does the time go, eh?

Another £10.02 from Music Magpie has just made the total for July so I'm going to declare at £155.68/£310.

    Half way there :)

Tesco Clubcard vouchers are in for this quarter. I don't tend to use Big T much these days as we have an Aldi, although it's a bit of a walk for me, so just have £6. There's no Tesco Direct website, you can't order clothing online (was going to get uniform, my local store don't stock much) and there's little else on there to use them on if you don't need rail cards etc. The death of the Clubcard? I used to do so well with them, save my points all year then double up for toys and games at Christmas-time.
    Humph.
