No, you don't have to switch within 14 days of the email.

It means you will pay BT 'at least' 14 days line rental if you switch.

So if you tell them you wish to leave today 20th, and the actual switch takes place on the 30th which is 10 days, you will still pay for 14 days.

I had the same offer of £23.99 p/m, after I had placed an order to change to Vodafone. I rejected it, and BT then offered a new 18 month contract at £19.99 per month.

Taking into account the annual Line Rental Saver I already have, that is only £1 per month until the Line Rental Saver expires in March 2019.

Does that exclude the price rise in September? I re-contracted at £22.99 for 12 months but will be hit by the price rise as this was agreed before the rise notification came out. (They've applied a refund to my account equivalent to the price rise over the contract period so the net impact of the rise is zero).

PS - I didn't need to initiate the leaving process to get this offer.

The price of £19.99 p/m I was offered is for the full 18 months, no price increases.

What happens to the BT TV and sport if I were to quit?
I still have around 10 months left of my renegotiated package to go.

You lose BT TV and Sport BT content as i understand it .
Prices for BT Sport are a lot more expensive via other ISPs .


I intend to hand in notice for all and renegotiate all .

Thank you, I can do without BT Sport if I have to and I believe my two mobile contracts will stay the same and keep the £5 reduction until the end of the contract.
I haven't had my email yet but it shows a £2.50 increase from your link above.

Let us know how you get on with your renegotiation

So the best BT fibre broadband offer for prospective price rise leavers is £19.99 per month for an 18 month contract - is that exclusive or inclusive of line rental? is that a variable rate [ I'm sick of swapping ]
- ? cheapest way to do line rental with BT? if it's pay in advance for 18 months are there refunds if you leave for price change reasons?

Yes pro rata refund if you cancel via the number on the email .
