What a horrible thing to happen - you must have been so worried. I hope the medics got to your mum promptly and she's doing ok.
As for the house, you're wise to keep looking in the interim but I still have everything crossed for youAs my mum always says, "What's for you won't go by you". What will be will be. I just hope that what you want is what will be

I am getting somewhat disillusioned with the dream house, or rather the process. The vendors are taking advantage of being in control of the proceedings via the online agency and, despite having at least 6 (that I know of) pretty much asking price offers on the table, it seems they’re trying to create a bidding war and are ‘waiting for further offers’ until at least the middle of next week. I’ve deleted it from my list of saved properties so that I no longer get notifications about activity on it and I am ‘hiding’ it on the property sites so I’m not repeatedly reminded of it. It’s taken the shine and appeal off somewhat tbh.I viewed two other properties today, both a no from me. One was dark, overpriced and had a horrible feel as soon as you walked in, the other looked promising from the outside but had been neglected inside. The price didn’t reflect the work that was needed either.Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £51,706.16

That's a shame that the house sellers are being like that. I get that everyone wants as much for their house as they can get, but when they have 6 families playing the waiting game, it's a little mean to keep everyone waiting. Make the decision and move on please! I hope you hear sooner rather than later so that you're put out of your misery, no matter what way it goes. The waiting around sucks.
Hope your mum is doing ok after her turn last week.Sealed Pot Challenge 075

Thanks everybody. Xx
I am currently sat in my parents conservatory, we came to visit them for a few days. My Mum has been plagued by horrific pain all week and hardly out of bed since we’ve been here, it has been very difficult. My Dad has taken DS out for a walk, Mum is sleeping after strong pain meds so I am sat down for the first time in what seems like a week. I have been cleaning and cooking and trying to look after the three of them all week, it’s been quite upsetting at times but I’m glad we came.Unfortunately we have to leave again tomorrow.Still no word on the house, so I have written it off in my mind. I do think it’s awful and incredibly selfish the way they are keeping so many people dangling on a string.
The tax credits hit the account today so I’ve overpaid the mortgage. It’s now just under £98K and I’ve overpaid just over £1K since mid March, I’m pretty pleased with that.Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £51,706.16
