Re the nightmare.. think of it as a 'purge' getting rid of all the hidden emotions that have been festering in your subconscious, and don't allow the residue to impact on the here and now, because they just aren't worth your time. ((hugs))
Hope you hear something positive from the builder, and enjoy the positives of posting parcels and selling your crafts... you are winning here and just need to keep your positive head on.
Things WILL get better. XXI Believe.....

Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Today has NOT been a good day.
At least it wasn’t until I picked DS up from school.
Work was horrendous and I got so stressed. Systems don’t work, technology is not properly set up, managers are ‘missing’ 80% of the time and when they are there are doing their own thing or arranging their next holidays. A job that should have taken me 45 minutes today took me all day, just because processes haven’t been followed correctly by others and the buck gets passed along the line to our department as we are the only ones who sort it out, it’s a complete mess. If I could find something else that offered the same salary and hours and was secure, I’d do it. I wouldn’t care whether it’s linked to my current specialism or not.
DS has been happily sorting out his Lego cards and drawing posters of the ‘spares’ for sale! He wants to set up a ‘stall’ outside and sell them. I love my little entrepreneur! Then he said ‘I’m going to give all the money to you, Mum.” He melts my heart daily. :happyhear I told him he should keep it and put it towards something he’s saving for.
DS has had a batch cooked dairy free toad in the hole meal from the freezer for tea. OH and I will have some sliced stuffed lamb I bought on offer at the weekend for £3. I also have a small piece of gammon ham in the slow cooker with some carrots which we’ll hopefully use tomorrow. It was £2.50 in Morrisons, reduced from nearly £5.
I haven’t got to the post office tonight, I just don’t have the energy to drag myself and DS out now. I’ll do it tomorrow.
The mortgage payment has come out and is now showing in the account so I’ve updated that in my signature. It’s a bit depressing to see the amount go down slower now I’m not overpaying by much but hopefully that’ll change again as soon as I’ve saved for the building work.Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £51,706.16

Are these the Lego cards from Mr S by any chance? I got given a load while I was there last weekend and I would rather they went to a home where they would be appreciated rather than sitting in the bottom of my shopping bag. I'm happy to send them if he wants them. Not giving up

£11.16 added to the pot from craft sales, just under £30 to go until I've saved £2K which feels like a nice little milestone.
Work at the house is ongoing, but there are now further complications and problems, so the price will be going up. I'll worry about it when I know the cost, but for now my days and nights are full of concerns about how safe the house actually is.Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £51,706.16
