I spotted a new 'for sale' board outside a property on the school run this morning, so phoned the EA, only to be told it's another complete 'rip it all out and start again' house. I burst into tears as soon as I was off the phone.
I am so desperate to get out of here. There were further issues in this area last night - let's just say that there is a lot of not very nice people who live here and they have absolutely no consideration or respect for anyone but themselves. I am so unhappy here and am doing everything I possibly can to move us to somewhere we can be happier, but nothing is going right. A bit of good luck would be so welcome right now.

I'm viewing a lovely looking little house today. 'Little' being the key word in that sentence though as it looks tiny in comparison to what we have, but it has everything we need, other than somewhere to put all the stuff I currently have in the garage... It would also mean at least £65K in the bank or off the mortgage which is the thing I'm concentrating on. I will look to see if I could add a single storey extension on the back though as we could really do with one more room and I'd have the money to do it.Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £51,706.16

The house was lovely and would suit us just fine. I was the first to view and the only to do so so far, but there have been several enquiries and requests for viewings. I’ve put an asking price offer in and hinted that I will go higher, but what I don’t want to do is to get into is another bidding war. The EA was going to phone the vendors to ask whether they want to accept my asking price offer or whether they want them to book in more viewings. I haven’t heard back from them and am disappointed not to have heard anything today tbh. I can see these turning into another ridiculous ‘highest bids’ scenario which I hate.Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £51,706.16

still keeping my fingers crossed, perhaps the EA didn't manage to catch them and you will hear in the morning, they would be very silly to turn your offer down you are in such a strong position, sending positive thoughts!! x2
