Property Ladder - C4

After recent revelations regarding the huge discounts on offer to those taking part in the programme, I'm inclined to believe the art deco couple never had any intention of becoming property developers. She just wanted a slice of C4 half price discount at Porcelainosa.....
So she and that Asian couple in North London with the fishtank and Corian overload weren't quite as daft as they looked?
Thanks very much:rolleyes:  You've only gone and taken all the enjoyment out of Property Ladder now there's no schadenfreude to be had:rotfl:

Yeah, and apparently the totting up at the end uses only the full price figures and doesn't take into account the discounts they've secured. That chap you cited is a prefect example. Its like the producers have done a deal with the 'contestants' along the lines of 'If you let us make you look stupid, we'll help fund your project'. I'd be up for a bit of public humiliation for a half-price rennovation....0

£500,000! They made £83,000 profit.
Was it just me that wanted to slap that annoying girl in that family? She was so irritating!
I don't know why they are still showing these old programmes, I want to see how the amateurs are doing in todays market.poppy100 -

I agree about the girl. She is awful. Who does she think she is.

The just showed a location location location on More4. Some guy was buying a 2 bed house in Notting Hill for just £230,000. I thought he was getting a real bargain, then I realised the programme was from the year 2000! What's the point in repeating such old programmes?poppy100
