+1 on the pictures. Apart from the kitchen they are bad at best.
Don't take photos into the sun and if you have any kind of bed on display it needs to look like you could bounce a quarter off the sheets.
If you want someone to pay you over 1/4 of a million pounds for something at very least make it look good.If that were my listing I would want it taken down immediately until the agent can find an actual photographer to capture it. Did the Saturday boy take those with his phone?0 -
It is all luck, supply and demand. Pictures etc help but in the end, it comes down to someone wanting to buy in your area, having the money, and your house being better than those around for the same money.
I know when I look at houses, as much as I like it looking all nice if another house is 5-10k cheaper but needs a bit of work, I will go for it as most people like to put their foot print on themselves.
I'd just watch out for competition around you and just bide your time. I mean your car being in your drive or not will not be the reason someone overlooked your house (in my honest opinion). Things like room sizes, actual space and surroundings vs cost is what secures a deal for me.0
