Going back several years MSE 100% used to include cashback deals as I 100% know I signed up to deals that were highlighted on the MSE guide where they used to say you can get £x cashback from Quidco or TopCashBack etc.
I once thanks to the MSE guide actually got paid a small amount to have broadband and phone for the year. Those times are long gone now it seems.
Thanks for the feedback on Now TV BB - I am signing up today.
Why are they gone? There are still offers for £11 per month with cashback offers on the main webpage.0 -

I got the deal last June for ~ £12 per month for cheap broadband and had no problems at all but I am now looking to grab another deal. Thing is I might or might not be moving in a couple months (up in the air at the moment) so I have to factor in the best deal and also least break clause if I do need to leave early. The offers for shell and post office on the main website have big break clauses based monthly. Just having a chat with plusnet now see if they will offer me a deal to match.
EDIT: after a chat with plusnet on IM they can only offer £17 a month as best deal and still have a £12.15 monthly break clause for all months that are left on contract.
If it's only for a couple of months just pay full price and get a new customer deal from whoever suits in the new place.0 -

I suspect they could be regional. The cheapest I'm seeing is £11.66 'Effective monthly cost'. That's £14.99 a month with a £60 credit.
A far cry from being paid to take on a contract.0 -

That is the thing I dunno if it is a couple of months or not however I guess it doesn't matter cos either I stay and get a new contract here or move and get a new contract thereHadn't actually thought of that till you brought it to my attention. Ta
Initially I was thinking if exit fees were low it would have worked out better to go on a new one on low monthly then pay the exit but seems not.
Actually I will have a look and see about if I could go on a new one here and move across with no fee/smaller fee.0 -

There aren't any Quidco/TopCashback offers showing for me on the MSE main page. That was what I was talking about with regards to Cashback. Not the MSE deals where you get a credit or say a pre-paid card.
MSE used to years back show the deals including the Quidco and TopCashback sites. I seem to remember their policy of showing these changed when MSE was sold to Money Super Market but I may be remembering that incorrectly.0 -
when I click thru to the shell broadband link I get an error page (ie We're currently unable to provide broadband to your address.)
anybody else getting that ?
its not as if I live out in the sticks somewhere either - just the north west of england
edit : ok the problem only happens if Im already logged into my shell energy account - if I log out it then says I can apply which is odd0 -
Shell Energy Broadband Deal....just signed up to this but have now read carefully the terms and conditions and unfortunately don't believe its quite the good deal it appears to be...the contract is for 18 months but even when that ends there is still a £15 termination fee. The prices can go up during the contract period although you can then leave within 30 days of being notified of the price change without being charged. What's other peoples thoughts on those terms?0

Normal terms .
£15 is to cancel not to move ISP .
Price rise in contract yes normal see multiple posts on the subject .0 -

The £15 fee is called a cease fee and will still be charged after the 18 month period to terminate or cancel! Tat implies it will be charged if I change supplier andI've not had that in my terms and conditions with other suppliers?0 -
You have 14 days to cancel .
Personally i dont want cheap service.0
