Gravel loaded into car in a large bucket over and over again, and then unloaded, bucket by bucket over and over again, as it was all too heavy for me to lift.
Now on my paths and raked down, looks so much better.

Salad roll eaten, plus and ice cream as a treat for working so hard!

Company accounts have just arrived for my agreement / signature / onwards submit to HMRC, need to put my thinking head on to check them, but that won't be today.

Afternoon all. Hope you're all ok, and well done on meeting your deadline Iona.

Today I have done a work shift and the dailies. Have also made coleslaw ready for tonight's tea, done a quick hoover through the house and taken the dogs for two walks.

Just having a cuppa then I'll look at the list. I may be choosy.

    S'up, HB?

Neighbour? Kitties? Dog? All of the above?

    Or - [ominous strings] - a boarder?

It's very simple and I rather think both of you, Ionafan and Jojo, will recognise the frustration. Someone (who will remain nameless) and I sat down weeks ago and worked out what needed to be communicated regarding the sale of the chalet. The purchasers suddenly announced today they wanted to exchange today and complete tomorrow. I realised from something that was mentioned in passing about 10 days ago that they were unaware of some of the original information THAT FORMS PART OF THE CONTRACT. I found out this afternoon that SOMEONE had not passed on the information. I had to turn myself inside out this afternoon to get all of the information that should have gone weeks ago passed to the purchasers.

If there is one thing I am good at it's planning and when SOMEONE ignores all of the work I've put in, and then ignores all of the reminders, and then expects me to sort out the mess SOMEONE created, I get very, very frustrated.

    We didn't exchange.

I know exactly what you mean - I would be at screaming point too. And I bet you've incurred solicitors' expenses for no gain :(

I hope that SOMEONE never makes the same mistake again!

    (((Hugs))) to you, HB.
  • My sympathies, HB. And an alibi if you need one.

Woke up at 6.30am  and lounged around until it was time to walk to work.

Made it through work and came back to find he was already making a start on a (small) tea and had mopped the living room floor. I've been sat down ever since and have just had a big plate of nachos (as in refried beans, very hot Jalapenos and salsa). I think I'll sleep OK tonight.

I also had a telephone appointment with Rheumatology where I gave them my blood results. They reckon it's all Vit D deficiency again, too, so, as I've been making sure I've got lots of sunshine at every opportunity and my levels were fine at the beginning of April, it must be just a complete lack of the stuff in food.

For somebody who detests medication, it seems to be stacking up.

    MTX injections.
    Folic Acid tablets..
    Multivitamin fizzes.
    Vitamin D tablets.
Anti inflammatory cream for the elbow.
    Psoriasis Ointment.
    Psoriasis Moisturiser.
    Psoriasis Bath additive.
    Psoriasis Shampoo.
Sunblock to avoid too much sun on my face as the Psoriasis stuff makes me more likely to burn badly.
Paracetamol. As I am now allergic to Naproxen and Ibuprofen (they make my hands burn).

And then overseeing the restructure of the catering department on top of that.

I think I'm going to go to bed in a minute.
