JoJO do take care. That isn't meant to sound patronising.
I am greatly in awe also of the successful slinkies. Although I am fitter in many ways since Jan, I currently feel as if I am wearing a foam rubber suit. Yuk. And someone tell me Pri*ar* clothes are.....sized small. Bought a couple of tops this morning and although they fit, they aren't as loose as I had assumed. Serve me right for not trying them on (although if I had, would I really have bought the next size up?).
A day of catchup and finish off.
Last report done and will have final check am.
Currency collected and library books returned.
Parcel and letter posted.
Last bits of holiday shopping done.
1 load of washing done.
Case pretty much packed. ish. Weather forecast not good where Mum and I are going so put in 2 fleeces, heck they take up space.
MIL visited and her alarm set for tomorrow; she has doc's appt at 9am so insisted we set her alarm for 6am which means she will be sitting on bed at 4am probably. But will probably sleep in the car en route to BIL where she is spending the next 2 weeks.
No house flying needed after our pre-visitor blitz yesterday; it looked lovely when I came down this morning to make a cup of tea.
Mr N kindly dug me a bed to put in all the homeless tomato plants I haven't had time to put in pots/growbags so at least they should survive outside.
Bye for a while. Hope all the baby birds find somewhere else to get food while I'm away although Mr N is only away for a week.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Morning All,
Up since 5am to dispatch DH to work; kiddies are now dressed and playing, I will be dropping them at my friend's shortly as I am due in work at 7.30am.
Beds are made, DW unloaded and WM on ready for me to peg out when I get home. I expect I will be inspecting the back of my eyelids by 9pm tonight!
Big hugs all round have lovely days all xxMFW

Morning all
Just having a coffee before I get started, prodictive day needed here as want to finish ironing before I go out, hair cut at 9.00 for me and DD2 then on to friends for coffee and look at underwear, jewelry, handbags etc. Another friend who has done always sold lots of different things via parties is bringing all her bits and bobs that are in the sales so hoping to find a bargain, but really just an excuse for coffee and a chat. Then back home to pack, or rather throw what we need for a long weekend in the car and try and get away just after lunch.
Off to shower and get dressed0 -
Feeble wave from the corner
I really CBA at the moment. Everything seems like too much hard work. I am such a lazy mare :rotfl:
I must try harder!
Yesterday was spent mowing grass. In the paddock, in the chicken run, in the orchard, on the roadside verge and I only mowed over the electric fence once and got stuck in a ditch once. In my defence, Tiny was sitting on my lap "driving"
Coffee date with a friend this morning, then back to the grindstone, after a meeting with the plumber at 11am.
See you later!0 -
My fly lady day has been taken away from me...
Supply agency messaged tea time yesterday offering me half a day this morning. Yes please... more money in the pot.
Will see what I can get done this afternoon/evening.Outstanding mortgage: £23,181 (December 19)

Mainly at home today apart from a working lunch, got washing to do and clean downstairs floors, then I might just do a bit in the front garden this afternoon if I'm not too tired!0

I'm waiting for the car to be picked up for its service. More expense that I could do without, but I did know this one was coming. Fingers crossed that it is just the service and nothing extra. Luckily, the friendly local garage will pick it up and drop it back later, which saves me time, and means I can walk into work just a little bit late. And obviously more time for flying later
WM has just finished, so I will double peg that outside, as it's so breezy. We've had no rain now for ages, so all the water butts have run out. Ironing pile has been despatched and dinner for tonight has been partly prepped. So much for the idea that I would clean the bathroom before work - time has disappeared again. Another job for later.0 -
Narc0lepsy have a lovely time away
Dizzy my metal picture of tiny driving, and you both gonig in a ditch is not a good one, hope you are both ok, and the mower machine as well.
I'm on a roll so far today
Up early to watch the sun rise from here, the tree in front garden in the way.
Said tree is now devoid of some branches and a tip run is done, letting much more light into the front room. I didn't relise how over grown it was, my neighbour is happy as well it seems as it taking light from his as well.
Downstairs all hoovered
Toilets cleaned
Kitchen all done
Ironing all done and away
Car tyre checked air put in.
Lawns cut
Off to collect gravel in a bit that is free, lets hope it is not full of weeds, I need to top up my paths and this seems a very MSE :money:
