Froddy massive GWS wishes. You really are going through the mill right now, aren't you?
Mr LW has volunteered to dust the lounge - well it'd be rude to say No, wouldn't it?I think we need to pop into town for some F&V later. I hate going into town, but needs must....
And I got a text this morning - Lacey the Spaniel wants to come for an overnight stay at the end of the month. :TIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Congratulations to Valli, Lamewolf, and Mrs MoneyPenny. I'm so sorry the parental and parent-in-law situation is tough for so many people at the moment. (((Hugs)))
*Healing vibes* to Jojo and Frodders (and ditto re parental responsibilities) and for Narco's shoulder.
Even without breaking out the dusters and vacuum cleaner I've been at full tilt in the house for three hours, sorting and putting away, tidying and generally flying but with nothing to show for it. I'm also preparing for a daytrip to London on Saturday which will involve sitting on a coach for eight hours in total. I'm not a fan of coach travel but needs must.Better is good enough.0 -
We're off on a day trip to the seaside. It's dull and overcast, but that's probably better for the pair of us.
He did the washing up before we left.
Plan today is to pace things gently, get some food, not spend too long or too much, and then back for him to do his next online therapy session whilst I veg out in the bath.
Ooh. There is sunshine this side of the Downs. I wonder if it'll last?I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -

My early start is catching up with me - had 40 winks on the sofa before the school run
So today has been volunteering, car service, leaf clearing and general tidying. Also yet more work admin for DH business. Dinner tonight will be an easy from the freezer fish pie for me with a pile of kale; the kiddies will have fish fingers, mash and sweetcorn. I feel an early night coming on.
Have lovely evenings all xxMFW

Nine fence panels painted, plus the bird aviary, which has been used for 'storage' for many years. Five left to go, these I'll do tomorrow subject to weather.
Dinner cooked.
Now sat on my back side for a bit, then wash up and water the flower pots.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Zumba this morning.
Mr N dusted and hoovered the lounge while I was at the gym, so I continued the lounge doing a flower arrangement, putting 'stuff' away and we had a think about chairs (will be 9 or 11 of us in there this eve for church group:eek:).
Mr N then blitzed conservatory and hoovered hall while I blitzed the kitchen.
Made some biscuits.
He painted front fence (must be the week for it) while I dead-headed, pulled weeds and pruned the shrubs so people can actually get down the drive.
He went to visit his mum while I did a bit more of my last report.
I chopped up various things from the fridge to put in a sauce while he had a shower.
Now he's stirring dinner while I'm doing a bit more of the report.
I'll need a holiday by the time it comes.....could do with another week to catch up/get ready but that's the story of my life. :rotfl:
Lots of supportive hugs to all.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
