Jojo.. sign you be getting old.. all those drugs (My list is extensive also and most of them I refuse to take.) Is the Vit D not including calcium? I was under the impression they lump together usually. Naproxen makes my delicate tummy very very unhappy! I have co-codamol instead which requires more medicine so I can 'go' .. it's never ending.. I am very much with you one the hating medication.. you have my every sympathy xxx. I hope foody things are improving with your guidance.

My bites are feeling better eventually... far from gone, but less swollen and painful.

Uniforms and bed for me.. I am shattered!!! Nail appt in the morning.. then I need to go to Smyths (or send The Manbeast... what do I call him now? I might stick with OH actually) He is at work 11-9 I think.. might be 11-7... I'm not sure.

Restacked and tidied and vacuumed 2 rooms today.. they desperately needed doing. Tomorrow I might get the back room looked over.. I need to address the mountain on the cupboard top.. and fold 10 tonnes of laundry..

    love to all xxx

    Morning folks

Pigpen glad your bites are going down.

Hugs to all those suffering other problems as well.

Going to read / sign company accounts in a bit, before I do any thing else, well I have fed the cat or I wouldn't get any peace.

Then I'll make a list for the rest of the day

Hello ladies - another glorious day here :j

Sorry to hear SOMEONE is being a plank Honey Bear. It certainly is a good job you're orgamanized, otherwise life would be utter chaos...like mine :rotfl:

Jojo - hope the Vit D does it's job and you're back to your usual self very soon x

Had my meeting with the plumber yesterday and then he sent round two lads to do the little bits needed in advance of the major stuff...oh, and the plasterer came over to check supplies for commencement of the downstairs wet room and utility area next month. More dust and mess expected...

PS - thanks Ionafan for the little dragon....I'm in love...

    Email sent
    Breakfast eaten
    Patio pots watered
    Strawberries picked (11)
    Mange tout picked (5)
    Gooseberries admired
Conversation had with DH about what he's doing this morning (which he said he would do last week)
Space admired where the bookcase was in the way, but it's now gone to DS2

What can I do with an old kingsize duvet - i.e. fling it? I'm refusing to have it dry-cleaned again, as I've now spent more on that than the thing originally cost. It's a polyester fibre filling.

    Books await... :(

    Happy Friday everyone xx

Wow Jojo, that's a lot of medication.

Sorry to hear abou the tooth, Natty. I hope it feels better really quickly. Well done on the ironing.

No news on the chalet exchange, very predictably. I need to work out how to explain why I get so frustrated about commitments not being fulfilled making a huge amount of work for me, but I haven't found the right wording and approach yet. Part of the reason for asking Someone to take the lead on the chalet sale was to highlight this issue of leaving problems until they result in this kind of mess every single time. I've been very conscientious about resolving them for 25 years and I've had enough.

My sympathies, HB. And an alibi if you need one.

I'll let you know if I do!

You can try homeless shelters or animal shelters but it would need to be washed or cleaned first. I'd stick it in a laundrette washing machine that's designed to take duvets rather than dry clean it - what have you got to lose? And in this weather it'll dry on a line in a trice.

I was flat out yesterday and managed to get most of the things on my super-urgent list done around the house. No progress made on paperwork due to being side-tracked by sorting out the aforementioned muddle, but the chaps who are fixing the backgate turned up and did several hours work and that's huge progress.

This morning, 30 verbenas arrived when I was expecting 30 pansies. *sigh* We needed low growing and flowering colour, not tall. I don't know if I can be bothered to follow it up.
    Better is good enough.

Oh HB, good luck. I was about to brave asking what was up yesterday evening, but the tablet had a hissy fit for most of the evening. Or was it me, I forget now....

This morning has been spent travelling to the city to take DD for a scan. All posivibes welcomed as ever. As in our case no news is good news ( all hospitals and staff have been excellent throughout our personal nightmare years) I am hoping to hear absolutely nothing until we see the consultants in July.

We are back now, and I seem to have gained a toddler. DH is in a strop about some new boy toy not working. Just when I was hoping that he would go and get the new tyre for my car.

Flying wise, 2 loads of washing have been seen off, but these will inevitably produce an ironing mountain very soon.

Iona - our local dog rescue was very happy with various duvets, blankets and duvets that I have taken to them recently as part of my flingage.
Natty - I hope the tooth has sorted itself.

HB I would most assuredly be burying SOMEONE under the patio. Like you, I try to be very organised, and I get extremely frustrated with people who are not.

Jojo I too detest medication; but my prescription list now stands at nine items. I am frequently tempted to just say "s0d it" and cease taking the lot. :( But then, that'd kill me,and Mr LW would then have half a tonne of paperwork to cope with, and I'm the one who organises paperwork around here (see my comment to HB about people who are not organised).
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Posi-vibes for your DD's results and condition, Fayolle. I hope your toddler remembers he's a grown mutt as we used to call them when I was a whippersnapper

We've sold it. It took us three hours to clear the rest of our stuff out and I 'forgot' to do the flying Someone said 'we' would do today - I don't flipping think so. It exchanged and completed as we finished clearing the last of our gibble. That's now piled up in the dining room (which makes me feel a bit sick) but the proceeds are in our bank account. OH has already told me what his spending plans are for what he calls the 'and change.' More boys toys, basically, or as Mummy in this blog calls it, more gadgets for her Gadget Twit, substituting an a for the i.

I thought there might be a few Flyladies who understood the level of my frustration yesterday. Thank you for letting me know you do; it makes coping with it easier. I heart Flyladies.

I'm having a cuppa and two (!) chocolate ginger bix to celebrate before getting back to rehoming all of the [STRIKE]crap[/STRIKE] useful stuff we carted back.
