Hi Primrose
Haven't been on for a while myself but came back to find everything changed. If you Bookmark the topic you will get notifications for replys.
Think this is why site traffic has gone down so much and they've been closing boards. People are having to search for topics they commented on.Just because I disagree with you, doesn't mean I hate you. We need to understand this as a Society

Stingy. Hate to admit it but I really don,t u derstand how I bookmark a topic. Can you or somebody explain to me in idiots language where and how I do this please. The forum developers never even bothered to provide a Tutorial of any kind before introducing the new format so I,m not surprised in the least that forum traffic has gone down. In my view it was thoughtlessly handled by techie developers who didn t care Thwt many of their less technically talented users would struggle with adapting to a new format and system.3

Like Covid, Brexit is still here in the background lurking and it too won't be going away any time soon. It feels like it's a forgotten area but we're still stocking up, as much as we can with the vagaries of delivered orders from the supermarkets, and getting in the odd bit of equipment via Amazon and Ebay. Other than the odd box with a mention of Brexit on the newsfeed of the computer it seems to have gone from peoples minds but it is still there and I'd like more information about the stage of the talks about a deal or not.5

People laughed at me when i suggested they perhaps get a few things 'just in case' at the end of last year. When the virus came along and toilet paper was nowhere to be seen and you couldn't get some foods, i was not queuing for hours trying to get food for me and my children, as i already had the stocks. I stayed home and protected us all (i know i was lucky as i could also work from home). Now shops are starting to be a little more normal i have started restocking my cupboards. Not panic buying, but a few extras here and there, because to me it makes sense. And if it should all end well then we will use the stocks we have along the way or maybe for if/when a second wave of virus comes along. Nothing wrong in being prepared and don't care if family members laugh at me for it.Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Hopefully it's self-explanatory.

You can throw sticks and stones at me, but I think that Brexit is a mistake.

Too late for that, it's where it is and we just have to get on with it mistake or not but I'd like to know where we are in trade negotiations with the EU and the rest of the world, there's been very little information on what's happening over Brexit and it's only months now to either a deal or a no deal out. Only children throw sticks and stones for another persons point of view and you have a valid opinion and so does everyone else.6
