  • Picked up mobile to find shirty text message wanting to know where I was/why I wasn't in work (I messaged the absence phone last night - the procedure does not require me to contact anybody else, least of all somebody who isn't even my line manager). And would it really have killed them to ask how I was?

Put the mobile back down again.

Up at 10, Himself was already awake and offered to make breakfast (which, because we have no food in the house, involves a trip round the corner to the shop) just after he finished a telephone assessment for MH services from 10.30 - 10.50. Cup of tea and breakfast duly arrived.

    At 1.54pm.

A bit of washing up has been done, tea has been cooked (and not washed up after) and I felt woozy again, so went to go and lie down for a bit at 6.30pm, only to find him not tidying the studio from where he'd gone up at about 5.45pm (again - the stuff in there gets shuffled about for hours on end whilst lifeforms fester and glower everywhere else) but having a 'little rest' because he'd eaten a saucer's worth of food. He asked if there was something he could do to help the pains in my legs - I said that when he did massage them briefly on Monday morning, that helped for a while. He then wibbled about how disgusting the place was and how much work he had to do on it. The place I cleaned from top to bottom whilst he was away and was therefore perfect a whole seven days ago. So I suppose the required answer was 'no, just have your nap'.

Annoyance propelled me back downstairs to feel rough without him.

Downstairs bathroom swished over. Upstairs will follow. Cats are currently beating one another up very noisily.

I want to go to bed in peace. Alone. Without his 'comedy' shows or interminable podcasts in the background.

Jojo, wow! I don't know what to say so sorry no suggestions, just try and look after yourself.

Another full day of over excited kids today but then it's done!

Cleared kitchen and put DW on last night so hoping DD2 will unload it later when she gets up like yesterday.

    Hugs to all
    xx
  • Woken up by work phoning but they didn't leave a message.

Have emailed them with difficulty as things are all blurry and as I sat up to pick up my phone, the entire world swam around alarmingly.

What the hell is wrong with me?

Jojo, if that man hasn't already taken you to hospital, dial 999 yourself. You are clearly very unwell.

Jojo.. that sounds very much like a really high blood sugar.. esp if you have lost weight recently.. I'd get checked out asap as the damage from untreated wacky blood control can occur very quickly.. T2 can be caused by other conditions and T1 is an autoimmune disease and if you already have one AI condition it is much more likely to occur. Seriously.. get yourself checked out forthwith!!!

7 tiny insects bites are now immense and driving me insane and growing by the minute!! I think I may be reacting to the advised cream too... yay me!!

    Off to find snackage!!

Jojo, where are you in the country, I'll come to you, and take you to hospital myself if I can. Get help NOW, something is clearly wrong.

Hello all. JoJo and Piggers - hope you both get sorted out soon.

I have done a paid shift, walked the dogs, and put washload on the line, oh and watered plants. Just eating bowl of fresh strawberries, then I'm going to S&S the bathroom as per today's list.
Spend less now, work less later.

I have Fasting Bloods tomorrow morning (the earliest they could fit me in - the GP wanted them done yesterday, but they were already massively overbooked for then and today).

    It had crossed my mind.

I'd go to a walk in centre, if they think it is a possibility already that is even more reason to go now. High blood glucose can cause seizures.. and death... there isn't time to wait for GP's. I nearly lost DS3 because a GP was pithing about instead of sending us straight to the hospital... Promise if you start vomiting, become aggressive or the blurry eyes doesn't rectify you will go straight to the hospital.. these are the first signs of DKA and the slippery slope downwards.. I'm actually quite concerned about you xx

As for my bites... I already got stuff for them but they are just so incredibly itchy and painful and oozing nicely... I hate insects!

Jojo, please keep checking in here so we can keep an eye on you, or get a car / taxi / bus to the nearest hospital.

    Car is washed
Inside of all downstairs windows are cleaned, now I just have to sort out are the marks left on the outside (which I did the other day) or on the inside and are bits I have missed.

    Bins also cleaned
