Considering lots of the things you mention will be drug related crime it would be naive of the police not to check it out.

None of this changes the fact that the neighbours are doing something illegal.

I suspect the people that are suggesting ventilation and air purification systems have never had the chance to live next to potheads. The smell is at least twice as potent as tobacco smoke.

If the OP is saying the truth that even his clothes are starting to catch the smell it something need dealing with. Imagine if his boss catches the smell some day and thinks that OP is using it, could lead to all sorts of trouble.

The police aren't naive. They know about half the population have tried cannabis, and at least 10% of young adults consume it on a regular basis. They've very little interest in targeting recreational users, who cause significantly less problem than the drunks they have to deal with every weekend.

I'm not saying there aren't consequences. Slavery is used in both the production and laundering of money. But you don't tackle that by arresting a stoner and giving them a caution.

Lots of assumptions here. Just because lots of people try cannabis does not mean the police should not react to a complaint and then they can decide in their expert opinion what to do next. Everyone does it is not an excuse to ignore something.

There are no assumptions. There's plenty in the public domain about the police's attitude towards individual cannabis uses.

Baffled by this - my immediate neighbours and their neighbours smoke weed - we occasionally smell it - but then we can also occasionally smell their BBQ. Live and let live. I'm sure there is stuff you do that annoys them. We live cheek to jowl with strangers these days. Choose your battles wisely; this isn't one you can win.

you can report it , but I wouldn't hold my breathe for action. I would look at moving to a detached house or a top floor flat in future
