I can't find a sticky at the moment.

It's good to be back. I need to shoot off to work in a few mins. Thought I would check the site and here it is. Great news. :j .

I have 3 days off from tomorrow, so that will be nice. Awfully busy day now, so cacth you all later.

Morning Everyone
At last after formatting and re-installing Vista I am back working from my laptop (Had to wait for a neighbour from home and here searching my spare room for my disks)! Got it going yesterday morning to find the site down! Glad to see it back, and glad to be back.

It's so good to be back, over the weekend apart from checking the site I've cleaned, washed, ironed, sorted cupboards you name it I probably cleaned it
today I'm going to meet a friend for coffee and a wander around the shops tonight dinner will have to be quick as I have to see 2 teachers at dd's school and then it's the college open evening for ds1 so I have to go there to see how he's getting on and meet his tutors

Morning N9EAV and all you lovely people who will follow - boy, have I missed you all.

First of all - WELL DONE, MARTIN, AND ALL YOUR TECHIE FRIENDS for getting us all back together!

I see we've been joined by some lurkers which is great. WELCOME to you all!

Well, as you all know, my MIL has been very ill for a couple of weeks and, unfortunately, on Saturday evening, she had a heart attack and died shortly after; it was expected, though I had hoped that, because she was normally so hale and hearty, she would pull through. It is a blessing because the brain haemorrhage she had had damaged her brain and, had she survived, her quality of life would have been very low. So, we are all glad she is not suffering but sad that she has gone.

I can't believe how much I have missed MSE - I could have done with the distraction; the whole weekend seemed unreal and very long. My house has had a lot more attention than usual and I've done a lot of baking, paperwork and other bits and pieces in between answering lots of phone calls from family (MIL was one of seven sisters and two brothers who are scattered all over the world) and, also, just talking to DH about his Mum and life in general.

Well, I need to go and have a shower so will join you all later; I am SOOOOO glad all Martin's hard work over the weekend has brought us all together - I've really missed you all.

Im sooo glad to be back here, must have checked hundreds of times over the weekend and yesterday really really missed this site. Well done people on all your hard work.

Havnt got much time at the moment so quick run done of whats going on today - in a minute wake up dd and make lunches. Pop into town to do some banking - major client forgot to pay us and has caused havoc, home for some paperwork & housework. Taking DD to docs this evening and oh will take ds and friends to footie training.

Toad in the hole for tea.

Well, its great to be back... those 3 days went on forever ....

Well apart from the withdrawal symptoms from here - i hope everyone had a good weekend, sounds like there are lots of "extra" shiney houses our there now ... i have even sorted out hubbies room in the basement (now that IS boredom) :eek: - i don't keep him down there -he just keeps his army kit down there:D

I don't have much to do today,
dinner is going to be - fish with hm pasrley sauce, mashed potato/swede, romanesco, carrots and brussels... im sticking to what my 6 weeks worth of menus say -well i typed them all up on the PC... well i had to do something to fill my time whilst you were all away ..... So apart from a bit of veg in a few weeks, the next 6 weeks of meals are all coming out of the freezer :T

Well i had better get off and catch up with the goings on :j
