That is one of the better PE WS's I've seen. Particularly like 2b. The idea to have in the back of your head is that the "average" person would take parking to be when the car was stopped in the correct place. Anything away from the norm that has onerous terms attached to it - the £100 - has to be expressed in a way to bring out the abnormality.

It's called Denning's Red Hand Rule though one OP took it literally and complained there wasn't a red hand on the signs.

Justice.gov.uk's guidance suggests otherwise:

Witness statements must:

1. Start with the name of the case and the claim number;
2. State the full name and address of the witness;
3. Set out the witness's evidence clearly in numbered paragraphs on numbered pages;
4. End with this paragraph: 'I believe that the facts stated in this witness statement are true.' and
5. be signed by the witness and dated.

I've just noticed in PE's evidence pack there is a Site Signage Plan which shows numerous locations of signs that are not actually in place in the car park. Is it worth challenging this & adding to my WS? (Google StreetView images taken only a month after the alleged offence confirm this)

Or could I just bring this up at the hearing?
