Morning all
Was quiet on here last night, I was catching up on stuff I had taped plus chatting with a couple of friends.
Today I am going to be the rag n bone woman! Collecting from Nannies and SIL (who is moving on Friday) collecting to take to school on Friday, they pay 20p/kg so hopefully they will raise loads. Then I have to go up to the church as someone is interested in the pews. Ooooo and we went to look for some kitchen floor tiles after school yesterday, A and I liked the ones that were £49 a square metre  when the average price was £20-£25!! BUT as we were about to leave I spied some really nice ones and even better they are only £11.02 a square metre
LJD re the tax code thing, everyone has a basic allowance of £5225 this year but there can be many things added or taken away from that. I have £45 added for uniform cleaning but then they used to take away £145 for the supposedly cheap staff mortgage we used to have with the bank! Each time there is a change you should have a coding notice sent to you. Unless you are aware of any extras then I would roughly work on the £5225.
Hope you all have a productive day, big hugs to baby Matthew

Morning All....
Poor pigpen...your going to put me off having anymore at this rate!!
I have hardly got anything done in the past 2 days, so its the big push now. I'm sure it won't take me too long or be so bad once I get started...its the getting started that seems to be the problem...
I had to take DD1 to school because the bus didn't turn up. I'm hoping that DD2 got a lift with a friend.
So, so far, I've stripped my bed, emptied DW, filled it again.....thats about it...just going to finish my coffee and then get on with the kitchen.0 -
Been quite a productive morning so far..
Dishes done
DW on
TD on
Hallway hoovered and mopped
Bathroom cleaned
Just stopped for some breakfast then going to make cakes:DThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Morning all :hello: just popped in quickly to see what you're all up to while a file for OH scans  Sometimes I think that man would forget his head if it wasn't screwed on.
Not done much in the way of cleaning this week BUT I've rejigged our desks so that I could get both computers up well away from the floor as OHs computer was full of DAMP dust  I'm just glad he didn't see it as he would have gone mental! All sorted now - only took 2 hours yesterday to sort it all out properly
I'm off to work on something on the computer which is supposed to be a Christmas pressie but I can't say anything else mum & sis both read this board
Oh and speaking of Christmas - you'll get a laugh out of this one - I was speaking to DD about what she wants for Xmas and she's been told that we send Santa some money which he then puts towards her pressies from him, and we buy her 1 (or 2) from us. So this morning :Me : "Santas agreed with mummy & daddy this year that he's going to get you one fairly expensive pressie, as mummy & daddy can't send him much money this year, but he'll top it up" (Me meaning a pink MP3 player currently being watched on ebay)
DD : Will it be an MP3 player? or even an MP4 one?
Me : Well you'll have to see, but I've already told you you are not getting an MP4 player!
DD : Well if it's not an MP3 player, can he get me a laptop then? I'd be really careful with it, and I'm really clever and good at using them!
Me : :eek::eek::eek::rotfl::rotfl: Er, you're not old enough for one yet, maybe when you get to seniors he'll get you one then!Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0
