LJD - do you mean earn or are you talking about inheritance tax?

Sorry i'm not thinking straight. I meant what can you earn. I'm self employed and am gradually creeping towards paying tax but i'm not sure when I pay tax. I have an accountant who submits my accounts so he'll let me know but I was just wondering. I seem to remember it being about £5000. I only work part time to fit in with my children so it's only as they get a bit older that it's become an issue xx

Thanks for that link Dustykitten. I have got a tax code but erm....ok....i'll admit it....there's still a lot of filing to do in this house. I've so had enough of not finding what I need so i'm going to do at least 7 bits of filing a day. If I do more fantastic but I have to do 7. I will find my tax code and all the other million things I need xx

  • Gosh its so quiet on here, we are normally on about page 12 by now!!!
Hugs to lilme - adding my best wishes to everyone elses re Matthew
Flying not going too bad - am concentrating on decluttering at the mo, and just level 1 on everything else. I have discovered that there is a carpet in the spare room (only just been able to see it!!) although Im not sure that is a good thing as I can smell cat pee in there, so my dearest darling cat must have had a sneaky wizz in there when I have left the door open [EMAIL="a@@RGH"]a@@RGH[/EMAIL]!!!

Can anyone tell me how to strike through text when you have completed a task so that I can post my lists and put wot I have done? Many thanks in advance

liloandstitch you need to use square bracket [ and then type the word strike and then close brackets [strike] and then when you've written what you want to cross out you do the same but with a back slash after the bracket and before the word strike. I can't do it or it will just cross it out without showing you so it's like this [strike] blah blah blah [/strike ] but without the space before the last back slash.

I'm sure I could have said that better. If you click on vB code in the posting rules box at the bottom of the screen it gives you all the rules for doing posh stuff! Hope this helps xx
