  • Morning everyone.

Another too early start here. (5:45) Darn children. ;) All up then, but i have managed to change the cot and our bedding, wash the cot bedding and sort out at least another 3/4 loads for the WM.

we had an interesting evening. Got back from food shopping and i was putting away the stuff we got, and i managed to trip over one of charlie's toys, whack my face on the door handle, and bruised and battered nearly all of my body it feels like. I nearly passed out but managed not to somehow, and we had a trip up to A and E at DH's insistence, he says not because it was me, but because of the baby. Anyway, a few hours of waiting around later i was checked out and found to be just bruised and shaken and i am looking a bit technicolour this morning. A lovely sight for going back to school. Can't wait for the 20 million questions from the kids, although DH reckons i should tell them i collapsed in shock at the state of their books. :rotfl:

seems as though you lot were quiet last night.

SM you will be absolutely great in the classroom and have a lovely time once you settle i am sure. Lack of confidence is a bit of a pain isn't it, but remember the shortage of jobs isn't your fault or any criticism of your teaching.

pigpen my favourite thing with rice is to cook it with some paprika and turmeric, and it tastes like paella rice. You can then put some peas and other bits of veg in, and some chicken and/or bacon bits and it is really quick and tasty.

Right, going to get dressed and then i can swap some washing around and grab the 1st of the sets of books from the car.

michelle - wow, poor you. it really gives you a shock, worse when pregnant i am sure!

well i am somehow showered and breakfasted in plenty of time, though i know how it goes quickly when you think you've got ages. will go and dry my hair (i rarely bother!) and write out evening invites for a couple of people i'll see this morning which will save dropping them off later in the week. plan is to go to shopping centre straight from church and buy knickers, plus the groceries i need. have got chilli & rice out of the freezer for my lunch, plenty of frozen veg in there too. ooh, i also need to go to wilkos if they don't have cheap enough envelopes at sainsburys/asda.

    Moring all.

Michelle hugs hun. Do you have any arnica tablets? Got for bruising or the cream.

House is a complete tip this morning not sure how.

I have stripped our bed and put in the washing machine. Forgot to get the washing in yesterday so it needs to stay on the line to thaw out.

    List for today:

Do master bedroom as I have stripped the bed - easy room for me.
Make another huge apple crumble as yesterdays has disappeared.
    Plant 3 plants.
    compost
    Collect rest of the apples
Freeze apples and cauliflower - need bags
    cut back grass
    ironing - not too much
    catch up on Ugly Betty.

This coming week I intend to concentrate on sorting and clearing more than flying.

Have a good day ladies see you later.

Morning all :hello: Not been posting but have been reading on coffee breaks :p

Up this morning at 6am, well when I say up I was sitting up in bed doing Tarot cards :rotfl::rotfl: About 7.30 DD came in and we started making Christmas lists - I think we might actually get away with some cracking things this year all homemade :D I just need to get out to the shops for a couple of things. ;)

So far today I've bathed/dressed/eaten, DD is dressed, fed & washed and is watching Christmas videos :D Washing load number 2 is almost finished :D Just another 3 to go (but they'll all be a quick daily wash ;) ). I'm going to put a stew in the slowcooker soon and we'll be off to the laundrette later - I've decided its time we bought a tumbledrier (with balls ...tumbledrier ones that Pigpen recommended :p:rotfl::rotfl: ) so I'm going to have a good look around as it needs to be a big condenser one and I don't care how much more it puts me into the overdraft - its got to work out cheaper in the long run than living in the laundrette! :o

Right, time to go and wash the breakfast dishes and put the stew on.

Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
  • Charlie now down for a nap, and i can make a bit more of a start.

Kitchen is now a bit tidier as i have brought in the recycling box and bin and put outside the recyclable stuff that was sat there. 1st load of bedding washed and waiting for the TD, 2nd load about to finish. DH has just put up the new kitchen light which we got to replace the broken strip light.

I need to get the bibs out the TD and fold them, put the wet stuff in the TD, get the next load of Charlie's light and stained things in.

2 boxes of books are on the dining table waiting for me. I need to make a start on that. I've just found some mark schemes for exam papers on the internet that i need for this weeks lessons, and i am a bit more sorted.

Thanks for the hugs. Much appreciated. I think i will have to buy some arnica gel. I mostly think i need to put away Charlies toys properly and not let him have as many out, as i got my foot on one of them and it slipped from under me. I think i had the gracefulness of an ice-skating hippo.

I'm looking on the bright side. It might make the gits at work feel a bit sorry for me and not go on as much for this week at least.

Anyway, off to tackle the marking. I really hate that job.

Morning everyone, i've got a nasty bug at the minute and it seems to be working it's way through the house, being sick can't eat only drink so i'm on flat coke, head thomping, one minute i'm freezing next i'm boiling and i'm so stiff.
Managed to get the garden momed yesterday morning before i throw up, thank goodness.
I hate all this bugges and i've so much to get done today, kiddies all back to school tomorrow.

Michelle that must have been some shock to the system, hope the bruising goes away quickly.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
