    Hello everyone!

I didn't do much flying yesterday, but I have some good news (I think). I've been given my first supply assignment - Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday in a year 6 class!! I'm quite scared cos I've never taught year 6 before (only year 5), and I'm worried that the kids will try to confuse me by swapping names etc cos I'm the supply teacher - do kids still make fun of supply teachers nowadays? Anyway, I have the number of the girl who did supply there last week (she is doing Monday and Thursday too) and I'm going to find out what it was like, and what they are learning at the mo. Pays well (£102 per day) which is good.

Just finished my meal plans for this week, so I'd best be off to get dressed etc, as parking in town if free before 10 and I need to get to the market. May have to see how much their spuds are after pigpen's bargain this week. How big was the bag pigpen?

Hugs to everyone who needs them, and KICKS for anyone feeling lazy.
    Happy flying everyone!

Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Unfortunately sexymouse i think they still make fun of supply teachers although i'm sure you'll be fine. Dont remember it happening too much at primary, was more secondary when they were bad!! We used to try and make them cry:eek:

Sexymouse.. MY boys had 2 supply teachers in this week.. one for science and one for.. english I think. The science teacher knew my mother and I went to school with the other one!! I thought usual teachers were meant to have a teaching plan thing which you could follow?? Or is that just the teachers in our primary? I'm sure it will be fine.. these year 6 children were year 5 last term!! So they can't be that much different.

Oh and I believe it is a 25Kg bag of spuds!

    Morning

Suppose I better get my butt out of bed and go and do something. Been a good day so far as DD brought me breakfast in bed to apologise for her behaviour yesterday (got half way home from school and refused to go any further as I wouldnt take her in to Tesco so had to phone OH to come and get her!). Then she brought a letter up from bank saying even tho they dont admit wrong selling they are going to refund my PPI - all £4333 plus interest :T :T :rotfl: :D so for anyone who thinks they've been mis-sold GO FOR IT, took less than a month (altho money not in bank yet!)

Gonna try and dejunk one spare room and our bedroom this weekend so wish me luck
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

    Wow! that's fab kaz :T

I've found two Tesco clubcard vouchers in my paperwork pile, both valid till 2009 but can I use them at the tills both at the same time? if so that's £4.50 off if I get myself down there.

This PPI thing, I'm sure I had cover on one of my debts years ago and I remember phoning them up when me and OH split up and they wouldn't let me use it (gits), but I can't remember what company - gutted lol I have a sneaky feeling it may have been Capital One CC. how can I find out?

Embb.. yes you can use both vouchers at once!

If it is less than 6 years ago it would still be on your credit record!! After then it would probbaly mean either finding the paperwork for the loan and going from there.
