Taking my son up to Manchester to pick up some of his clothes.
As we're both up at the crack of dawn, it looks like an early morning trip so I'll be able to do some money making this afternoon and tomorrow (as well as house work, shopping and a nap!)
I've got books that I didn't seel with my last lot that I'll try and sell and some dvds. Nothing big but I'm hoping the drip feed of money making will get me there
Kantankarusmare I think I'll need a holiday once my son goes back to Uni. I've been used to the house to myself and I now have someone around all the time!
You're right about focus though. I find I'm sometimes unknowingly puuting things on hold until my holiday is over...like I'm going to be gone for 6 months rather than 4 days!0 -

Sorry the exam was so bad. I hope the result when you get it will be brilliant:beer:
As for your planned weekend activities, I'd prefer decorating over eBaying every time;). I even offer to help other people with their decorating if I can't get my 'fix' of doing any here:rotfl:. As for eBay, I have to be dragged kicking and screaming before I list anything:o. I did quite well from the last batch of sales but it still doesn't help me to enjoy it more.
I haven't been car booting again today but have spent a dusty and hot few hours helping OH to clear one of the sheds and help him load the car (twice) for trips to the tip. Loads of his rubbish has gone at long last. I feel so much happier now:j. I'm not sure he feels the same yet, he's not programmed to part with anything however useless it is:(
I hope you've all had a good weekend and been able to spend quality time with your Dad today. If you are a Dad yourself, such as you Procrastinater, I hope you were treated royally by your family:beer:. Thinking of Mike too today, I hope things have worked out better for him and his family since he last posted.
Have a good money making week, everyone:beer:0 -

I get like that sometimes too, shariann:o:rotfl:
Well done to all money makers:T:beer:. Hugs to all who are struggling with life at the moment:kisses3:
After I sorted out my Amazon listings at the weekend I sold 3 books:j which are now posted off but money not yet received. Will update when I get it (if I don't forget:o). Also used a £5 More voucher and 2 x £1 MOC coupons in Morrisons. eBay sales have ground to a halt:(.
I keep seeing articles about the increasing value of some old and rare vinyl LPs and we were left with a stack of vinyls when a friend of OH moved house in a hurry and dumped a lot of stuff with us:mad: as he had no time to get to the tip himself. He thought what he gave us was either suitable for a charity shop or worthless and I was cross with OH for acting as the middle-man as we already have more than enough 'junk' of our own to dispose of. OH dropped some of the LPs into our nearest independent record store at the weekend where they buy old vinyl and give very fair prices. The owner is 'old school' and loves to chat and explain:j. Upshot was we netted £32.50 for what he took this time, with the promise of more when I get the second batch dusted down and taken in:j
Bit of a moral dilemma though as I'm wondering whether we should contact OH's friend and let him have the money (or at least a share of it especially if we go on to sell some more). OH says I should forget that idea as his friend had discarded the LPs not even thinking a charity shop would want them and had suggested we take them to the tip with most of his other junk. Our several trips to the tip to dispose of his other junk has already cost us gallons of petrol already:(. The person concerned isn't a real friend, just someone who appears once in a blue moon, usually when he wants a favour:mad:0
