So did you actually receive the £2000? If, so who are you paying?
Do you have a copy of the agreement?
I am a former Broker, former IFA and former compliance officer, for my sins.

However, I have since seen the light.

    Can anyone help?
We took out a Loan and PPI with LL Processing (UK) Limited trading as Loan Line. After weeks of them ignoring us lots of phone calls they offered us £2000 then went into liquidation. The FOS said they can't help. Where do we stand, where do we go from here?

    Hi there
I take it you posted on here because these were not covered by GISC or FSA when you had taken out this product with these, however if its not the case and the company were covered by any of these, also depending when you had taken this out - date ??? etc, you could always contact these here

    http://www.fscs.org.uk/consumer/About_us/

This is the Financial Compensation Scheme, if the company or anyone else taken over these are unable to pay out you can reclaim through the above link. I would contact them just to check.;)

You can always post up on the PPI reclaiming -discussion thread if you want to about this because myself and others have these PPI complaints where we have our claims in with the above due to the company going into liquidation andor/dissolved etc.;)

    Good luck

Loan Line havent paid the £2000. They sent us the paper to sign and send back which we did, then they wrote and told us they had gone into liquidation. If we e-mail them it bounces straight back and the phone numbers just ring out then cut off.
We took the PPI with a Loan in 2005.
I have spoken to the FSCS today and they say as far as they know they are still trading as they havent been told that they have gone into liquidation. The FSCS has told me to ring the FSA and ask them if they know if LL Processing (UK) Limited trading as Loan Line has gone into liquidation.

Yes good idea to check this out with the FSA, I will also see if I can find any information on these on "Companies house" company search, see if they can confirm anything on these.;)

No problem and with pleasure, I do know how you feel here, we are also ripped off by a few grand too and the director is not taking any responsibility by saying now that company has dissolved there is nothing more he can do, yet he is still directing other loan companies...... .

I am nipping out shortly but will be back a bit later, I will see if there is any other information but I was thinking maybe Companies house will be able to confirm who would be able to help you now, in case someone else has taken over these for this time being, its an idea, on the other hand the FSA are bound to confirm this to you.

I spend a lot of time on the PPI reclaiming-discussion thread, and sometimes others come along in the same situation, you can always see if anyone comes up for some answers for you, in case they have the same problem with the same company.

I will do all I can to help guide you here, and marshallka from the above mentioned site is hot at this sort of stuff too and maybe able to advise you also.

Catch you later, we will do all we can to fight for your money.;)

LL Processing (UK) Limited or Loan Line in Manchester and LL Processing (UK) Limited or Loan Line in Basingstoke are one of the same, crafty using 2 address's
I have spoken to the FSA today and they have not heard of them going into liquidation but they did say it could be up to 2 weeks before they hear. The FSA put me in touch with the Insolvency Service (0207 291 6895) who confirmed what the FSA had already said.
I have e-mailed the FSCS with the page from the gazettes on wednesday but heard nothing back yet.
I have kept all paper work plus copies and e-mails from Loan Line Or LL Processing (UK) Limited or what ever else they call them selves.
So again we wait watch this space I will keep you informed
  • In February 2007, I claimed on loan insurance with LLOYDS TSB as I was off work ill. They duly paid out. However, in September 2008, 18 months later, they contacted me and said they had overpaid by one month and demanded I repay 387.00. Where do I stand on this, e.g. length of time it took them to inform me, do I have to pay it back in one sum, etc.....
Any advice would be very helpful as to who should I contact regards this.

Ask them to prove it and tell them its very unprofessional to ask for this back 18 months later as it was their mistake originally. They may let you off as a gesture of goodwill if you be firm but polite too. I would certainly argue this.
