They have a similar way of apportioning blame for traffic accidents in Thailand
It kind of makes sense over there as the locals tend to be very poor and the tourist has money so it makes sense to them that the tourist pays for the local irrespective of blame.
I am not so sure such a system makes sense in the UK though0 -
What are these "Police" that people write about?
The last time I saw any was at the Royal wedding- and that was on the TV........I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
(except air quality and Medical Science)

You need to go on Twitter, find your local police service and then marvel at all the lovely selfies they are tweeting, it`s unbelievable the amount of time they must spend on there and explains why they have so little time for traditional police work.
I actually feel sorry for them that their bosses think this is a good use of police time.0 -
With some luck, you may not find your insurance goes up too much. My stepdaughter had a fault claim as a new driver, but made no claim for the minor damage to her own car and her insurance renewal (after shopping around) is very similar in costs. She was going to make no claim and just pay the other driver but he started messing around the same as your other driver seems to be doing, so I advised her to let her insurance handle it.
Call your insurance, let them deal with it would be my advice0 -
Regardless of the repair, I'd report the non-MOT; who knows, the car could be dangerous.
As for varying costs of repairs, if there's paint involved, some repairers may try and blend it in, whereas others may look to do whole panel resprays.0 -

You need to blend the paint even if you spray the whole panel.0 -
