In short - you are both in the wrong... and you are probably more in the wrong as you're knowingly enabling random children to potentially damage another person's property.
You have asked; we are answering. You might not like what you hear, but, by your own posting, it's the truth - the right is to pass/repass to access a property ... not to kick balls around, not to climb on/around vehicles, not to play ....
Indeed, he could charge you with damage if he chose to. You have the power and control to stop the children endangering themselves, yet you continue to send them out there willy nilly, unsupervised, without a care in the world that YOU might be setting them up for a nasty accident. You KNOW the vehicle is there, you've SEEN them playing around it - that's negligence if you don't correct that behaviour.
I know exactly what type of forum this is, and the characters that can frequent them. I just came on here looking for some advice for our little community (all pros and cons accepted), and I can live without sarcasm.
......The kids don’t play out anymore due to the concerns about these vehicles,.....stated quite a few times now.0 -
Oh, meant to say...his kids play out there too, and we are also concerned for them.0

God this forum is so utterly useless.
Why on earth are you arguing about someone else's kids?
If you can't contribute to the problem the OP has, why don't you just shut up and stop hassling them about trivial irrelevant nonsense?
I think half the people only come on here so they can make themselves feel all high and mighty by slagging off anyone who makes a post on this forum, and to point out why there problem isn't a real problem and tell them what they should be doing instead and how they should be living their lives.
If someone is leaving unused vehicles on shared land, then clearly that's a legitimate problem. If you can't help, don't bother posting.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0 -
If it can, it will......We and our neighbours have visitors children, grandchildren etc., all played on this private access as it was deemed safe and secure until these loaded vehicles arrived.......
What a load of emotional hyperbolic claptrap. Do you say the same when one of your neighbours have visitors who come in their vehicles? Do your neighbours say the same about vehicles belonging to visitors to your house?
Do you not realise just how ridiculous you're sounding? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

“Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools because they have to say something.”.....guess which one I believe you to be? .....”Hyperbolic”?....are you a mathematician?........hyperbole, maybe?.....Very entertaining!
....back on subject please, thankyou.0 -

It can be very toxic here, i don't see any problem with the OP wanting to get rid of these cars, i feel like if some of the posters here had a similar issue they would feel the same as the OP. The OP hasn't cut and run when meeting some resistance from the local trolls like most do. Why not try and help rather than abuse??
To the OP, its a tricky situation, but legal advice would be the only thing i could suggest if they are not open to diplomatic channels.0 -

He may or may not be a mathematician, but he does write good English. "Hyperbolic" is an adjective, and correct in the context. "Hyperbole" is a noun, and therefore wrong.0
