That's genius...time off work put to good use (not that a holiday wouldn't have been good use but I haven't had one this summer, either)

Nothing wrong with a 'holiday at home' ;) I've done this for two years now due to DH's health.

Other 'feel good' activities that will save time/money:

    - get the next week's work clothes ready, with any accessories, you've got time to look through the wardrobe and think about what's in there

    - sort out a clutter 'hot spot': I used to tidy up the hall as the house always felt more welcoming without the kid's bags, Dh's shoes etc everywhere.

    - organise yourself a spa experience in the bathroom - I light a candle and get out the 'special' toiletries I had for Christmas

I hope you have a happy and restful week.
