  • well done beanie for going to the gym - you have more endurance than i do.

Having a very odd lunch here. I had a bucket load of home made raita left so i've tipped it over some cold rice peas and sweetcorn. IT's actually quite nice. Been looking at the F&B website and it's quite difficult to choose. I was hoping to have pasta but ony the carbonara really grabs m and i should really stay away from that. Probably a mozzerella and tomato salad to start then a chicken breast or sometihng as a main - i've saved all my HEAs and Bs!

LOL at sugg's explanation of the man cutting my hair. If missy has had six inches off her hair, and so have i, does that mean that together we need 12 inches?

Hello everyone, so great to see Petrichor and Ajax back, woo hoo! :T:j

I'm sure there's loads I need to reply to but brain is fried so sorry peeps! Hope you're all well. Had a hellish weekend but it's over now thankfully. Was at work this morning, been offered more responsibility, yae!:D

Not expecting anything but a gain this week after weekend but to be expected. KPC, the Dementor has left the building (on Sat afternoon in fact) but the patronus is still a wisp at the mo - working on it though!:D The stress has wiped me out, I'm afraid.

Just finished my CRB form so will take it back to school now and chat more later xx

......I recommend the potato skins. I recommend the vegeburger with herbed potatoes. But what you really must do - and you can't come out of there until you've done it - is have an East Coast Sundae for dessert. It's all about the East Coast Sundae.

Congratulations to all the losers and maintainers :beer::beer:

Suggs - give the gym hades for mucking you about like that! oh and well done on the 27-0 rugby win!

Ajax - along with the stepladders you don't have our bread knife do you? It has gone missing since we moved!

My news for the week - well I did really well all week to allow for the fact that OH and I were going out for a Chinese meal to celebrate 5 years of marriage! Unfortunately whilst getting ready I stepped out of our bedroom (which has a step down to the landing) and my shattered ankle gave way on the way and I ended up flat out on the landing having twisted the ankle and landed on my left knee  so I have been on pain killers and anti-imflammatories since then and the downside to that is that I put ON two pounds (Saturday morning I was down two pounds on my Monday weight!)

Still on the pain killers etc - so not sure how this week is going to go! But I have decided that what ever happens I am going to get some new clothes for going out in over the festive period (mainly the Chinese again on New Years Eve!) so they will still be huge but I will feel better!

Humph another good idea bites the dust!

Have you ever tried making sourdough ajax? OH does for us and it is seriously tasty! (to the extent that we got rid of our breadmaker - next door neighbour likes it now and there is the smell of homemade bread most days! - well until we moved)

No I haven't, and don't be suggesting clever stuff to me - I only learnt how to throw flour in a pot and press a button two weeks ago. I will google it very very soon though.......

Have you checked your shed for the breadknife? I lost my mind once, and it turned up in the shed along with some plant pots, the adjustable spanner and the Haynes car manual (Austin Metro, 1983 A reg)
