    Hi Peeps

Just a quickie as I'm supposed to be going shopping for some dressy trousers (only got one pair of dressy type which are far to big now:j , DD say they now look like old style jodhpurs!!)anyway, after reading your posts I'm not looking forward to it now, I hate shopping at the best of times...

...Sorry you had a wasted evening Suggs  My favourite Meatloaf song* is from Rocky Horror where he played the part of Eddie, how he manages to fit all the words in I'll never know:confused: , but I love it. If I have time later I'll try and find a link to it on youtube, unless one of you more techie peeps beats me to it. When I get on youtube I always get sidetracked by A-Ha (Morten still does it for me :o ) and I don't have time...

    ...have a lovely day peeps...

    xxxx

  • Morning everyone,

suggs I'm really sorry to hear about Meatloaf. I've always wanted to see him live. I guess it's looking less and less likely.

bails any name for the kitten yet? There's been some great suggestions.

    petrichor, missyg - size 8's ? I wish!

Sorry I've been away this week, I have been lurking but not posting. It's been kind of mental here.OH went back to work this week after 12 weeks off, his manager put him onto Monday-Friday days. I've had to get up every morning and leave him to work and collect him again so that I wouldn't be left without the car - very tiring work! DS's 2nd birthday was Tuesday and he came down with tonsilitis (aww!) So he's missed his birthday and halloween celebrations at creche. His "official" birthday party is today and I've been buying in sweet & goodies like it's going out of fashion. There's been temptation everywhere and I've have succumbed at every possible opportunity. So I'm not expecting a good result at WI on Monday.

Thankfully, I'm off all the medications following my operation now and I'm recovering well. I still have 2 weeks off work and hoping to up the exercise next week and really get my focus back.

All sweets and rubbish will be going out the front door this evening with the last of the children attending the birthday party.

I never thought I'd say this but I can't wait to get back to work and back into a routine!

Thanks all for your words re Meatloaf, I actually felt sorry for the bloke in front of me, who had travelled down from Newcastle!!

According to the BBC website it was
acute laryngitis, which to me infers he knew he wouldnt be performing and could have cancelled eariler. I did check before I left and both the BBC and NEC websites said it was on. Still let hope the young man gets better soon.

Right I best get ready got a long trip to Witney to lose, sorry play rugby, my first match for three weeks so this will hurt a wee tad.

Hope your all having a good weekend and enjoy the fireworks but please be careful with them too.

    P x

Sorry about the font, I pressed the wrong button somewhere and cant sort it out

Grr, I just wrote a long post and lost it!

Sorry for not replying in full again but just have a quickie before we go walking - I am here with my mother this weekend and quite frankly, I have a disastrous time when the three of us are together - my mum, me and food. I am working on this but it aint gonna be resolved any time soon so can anyone please help me with some damage limitation ideas??

Thanks a lot guys (and thanks for all the kitten names too!)

    xx
