Ah well, 50% aint bad, thanks Suggs!
Thanks guys, I do appreciate you saying nice things;:o if you knew the old me you would see what I mean.
Vix, I wish I had your hairdresser, he sounds ace! Can't remember the last time I felt sexy. You've inpsired me to go and get re-measured for bras in the New Year too, so thanks. I go to a place called Perfect Fit, they tell you what size you are just by looking at you, it's amazing!
Can't decide if I can face going to Tesco this afternoon - not really in the mood for clothes shopping but the sale ends on Sunday and OH and I are spending the whole weekend together. It's quite a drive too...hmmm...anyone been and found nice things to inpsire me?The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

whoa, bails, looking pretty good there! How do you feel about the pic? I've ended up with spectacular 'before' pics on damn facebook thanks to other people uploading them. They make me cringe. However theres a pic taken last christmas that i feel like i can live with. It's not quite where I want to be but i'm not horrified by it. Does this make any sense or have any point?! Does anyone else on here use facebook actually? pm me and we can be 'friends'!!
rofling at pet's other name. and in fact at vixen's obsession with bosoms. i posted this link earlier this year for ajax and suggs, so here it is again for vixen . . .

Just to explain I am in a Firewall demo at the moment, hence the very quick response (it was a lunchbreak)
Shall to catch up later, but Bails, your a lovely looking lady with a great cheeky smile
Compliments over, I never know how to say them anyway. But honestly I prefer a cheeky smile and its truely in the eyesProud Member of the Lose Weight Thread on I Wanna..................

Katie that is extreme! and quite a horrible thought.
I have this pink sports bra by shock absorber, and my god, the cleveage i get from that is extreme. Better than in my gel bras. I never wear it cos i feel too embarassed about having a clevage whilst working out. It is too small, but ive said previous i can never do myself!
i do sound quite lesbian dont i. ha. I just love sorting poeple out.
bails: sounds like you need a good matching bra and knicker set, a new hair do, new make up and a couple of grand to go shopping with! what a fab christmas present that would be.0 -
Back to my favourite topic, bras ha. B to an E? i love those people.
Then you would have loved me too! I was the same difference, C to F!!! And 36 down to 32. My experience sounds very similar to Grannynise, I loved my new shape and felt instantly slimmer! Not surprising really when you think I was carrying those F's around with virtually no support before
I think the moral of this story ladies is go and get measured asap if you haven't had it done for a while, you could get a slimmer appearance in just a few minutes - what diet can do that?! :rotfl:
Bails, see everyone agrees it's a great picture! There's no way you'd get me into a bikini, it's not so much the shape of my body I'm worried about but the whiteness of my skin! I don't think I can summon up the courage to put a pic of me on here (but I might be persuaded to do a PM one at some point).
Well, I have been meticulously counting calories the last few days and having fun with that. I think I have a far better understanding of how this works now, but the proof is in the [strike]pudding[/strike] weigh in, as they say.0 -

The question is Vix, are you talking about the shock absorber link or the kitty wigs!! I really liked the Shock Absorber link (in a non-lesbian way - don't want this getting out of hand) - so many women don't know the damage they're doing to their bodies.
As for the Christmas present - OH, OH where are you? Come and have a look at this...Hmm, no sign of him:rotfl:If only eh, how fab would that be?!
As to how I feel about the pic KPC... well, I completely hate it but I accept it too, if that makes any sense? It's where I'm at at the mo and although I don't intend to stay like it forever, beating myself up about it only wastes my energy, and there are many, many other things I would like to be doing with the energy I do have!
Thanks Suggs, proper blushing nowIt would be great to see other people's photos, even just smiley face ones
There's no requirement to go in for self-humiliation like me :rotfl:

Oh yes I also realised I made a mistake saying I had 4lb still to lose. My goal is to be 8.5 stone on Christmas morning and for some reason I kept thinking 8 stone 5lb instead of 8 stone 7lb!
At last weigh in I was therefore just 2¼lb away, but that amount would normally take me just over 3 weeks to lose. Will I do it in 18 days...?
*would insert Yes/No/Don't Know/Don't Care poll here if i knew how*

Hard to judge missyg but you probably could do it. Thats 2 weeks and a little bit, not hugely far away from 3 weeks.0

haha sorry i keep posting but that kitty wig thing is so so funny0

Bails , you STAR!!! That's courage and yes I do think you look gorgeous and womanly, but i totally understand that this is a very diiferent you to the one who used to be lean fit and healthy, so it's hard for you so I salute your courage.
I'm not sure whether OH has photos of me 'before'. I may have a look to see:o
(BB, if you recognise me from all the photos the Dementor has of me on her mantelpiecethen don't tell her about my Patronus, I haven't perfected it yet
)
And yes I do recognise you - I didn't realise you were my neighbours 'un' d-in-law. She's so lovely, I don't know what your problem is bails. I just didn't put 2 & 2 together the other week when she told how her son's girlfriend tried to poison her with cold icecream - I was so sympathetic too...
Grannynise: poor you, hope you haven't got endless after school meetings tonight and can go home and put your feet up. Can't help with the syns but can recommend a hot toddy:D
Well I'm very chuffed that the 2 lbs I put on in November has now come off. Effectively this means I've stayed the same since end of October but I'm pleased that I was able to take myself in hand (backpain induced chocafrogalick habbit and extra carbs with evening meal were my undoing). However it is as well I have now got myself in hand as tonight we are off to our 1 and only Xmas do with the ('mature') degree group where my OH and I met 5 years ago. We've had to pre-order food so I know what I'm having. Oh dear, victory will have my guts for garters, and petricor will get the thwacking stick out... but I've ordered deep fried brie with cranberry saucefor a starter. Gonna enjoy every morsel
as I've been sooo good this last 2 weeks despite back misery. Just got an appointment through today for the back clinic.... for next april:( . Determined to wear my cranberry suede knee length high heeled boots even though it'll kill my back. Refuse to wear slippers on my one 'night out' all year!!

xxI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0
