    Morning All
    I am off to the nurse for my 6 monthly check, first time this year so hoping she will be happy with my loss so far and that my blood pressure is not so high, I have been dodging being put on blood pressure tablets for awhile.
    B fruit yog
    L sandwich with salad and maybe ham, hula hoop puffs (3.5)
    D dd requested kedgeree never made it before, although my Mum has, I know smoked fish is syned though so will have to work it out once assembled.

    Chrisv thank you for all your hard work could you put me down for 9lb

    Not all smoked fish is synned. Use smoked haddock, which is the usual fish for kedgeree, and it will be syn free. Think there is only one smoked fish which is synned but not sure which it is as I always use smoked haddock if I need smoked fish, eg for fish pie.

    Just looked up for you. Smoked mackeral is the only smoked fish which is synned, 2 syns for 100g, flavoured 2.5 per 100g.

    Morning all.

    Isn't this weather wonderful?? Baking already here in Sunny West Yorkshire, 3 words that don't appear together very often! (apologies to anyone under the east coast fog :() Sunshinemummy is it wedding no 2 (or3??) this weekend? If so, what great weather for it.

    Well done all the losers this week, commiserations gainers, keep going! Welcome to newbies and welcome back Kathryn - you've been very much missed here but ChrisV is doing a sterling job with the chart. - and Joedenise from your hols.
    Tweets glad to hear things are moving on for your Mum at last.

    Last day at my casual job today for a while :T - these few weeks have been a slog but the money's nice for all the new clothes I'm buying! My weight has stabilised around 4lbs under target so I think this might be my 'natural' weight if such a thing exists. DD1 is also doing a home version of SW and has lost 7lbs in about 3 weeks. She can't believe how much she's eating! I told her so......

    Have a great weekend everyone.

    Weighed today, as we're away this weekend, and I managed -1.5 lbs so a bit happier lol.

    We're away again in the caravan but are taking our bikes and planning another 20+ mile ride.....and to think in my pre sw days all I'd do is eat & drink when we were away.

    I poach the fish in water with a bay leaf so I don't have to syn it. I do the same when I make fish pie!

    Hello, Chris can you put me down for 6lbs again please, I will definately try much harder this challenge, I've got my DD staying with me at the moment and she has 5 stones to lose so we are giving each other moral support.
    Thanks

    All the washing now done, for the moment! Motorhome is in for service and MOT so that I can tax it tomorrow (assuming it passes - it had better with the amount we've spent on it in the last couple of years!).

    One the MH is back I'll be able to wash the bedding which is still on the bed and then that will be it until there's enough washing in the washbin to do another lot of normal washing.

    Finally did my menu plan last night and it looks like we'll be having a few Green days over the next couple of weeks. Think this could be because my friend has just lent me the Hairy Dieters Go Veggie! Some nice recipes in it to try. Have copied a few to try over the next few months (about 4 or 5 in the next couple of weeks!)

    Today's plan:

    B - 2 slices toast topped with 1/2 tin of beans & 2 fried eggs (again no Speed as didn't go shopping until after breakfast!)
    L - couscous salad with carrot, pepper, cucumber, tomatoes, olives; macedoine salad which is tinned diced mixed veg mixed with LTL mayo; ham & 10g piece of brie (just to get it used up as bought whilst in France);
    D - fish pie with peas & green beans

    HEA - 350ml skimmed milk
    HEB - 2 slices WM bread (+ 3 syns as weighed 75g)
    Syns - extra bread 3; LTL mayo 1; 2 marinaded olives 0.5; 10g brie 1;
    0.5 pkt white sauce mix 3 - total 8.5 syns

    Have some melon, strawberries & grapes to snack on if needed. Will probably 1/4 of a melon for pud tonight.

    It's great to have loads of fresh veg and fruit now we're back home. It's difficult when we're in France as we haven't got the storage for fresh veg so have to resort to tins - not the best but better than none!
