She also told my daughter she was fed up with all the brown stuff he gets.
Maybe if he didnt sit with his finger up his bum that may be different but from where i am , she causes most of it !!!
still shes showing her motives and her true colours0 -

GOOD MORNING , welcome to a new week.
Not a huge amount to report
Relatively spendy weekend , topped the car up again to flush out the rogue petrol.
Ate out a lot over the weekend , my only contribution an evening meal at weatherspoons 17.00
Bought the sexiest pair of ted baker shoes at their outllet store , black with the sweetest bows reduced from 169 to 41 - NM offered to buy them but being so blooming independant i declined but thanked him
technically i dont need them however once my social life improves i will be going to dressy events so at least thats covered.
ex is still dragging his feet , agent visited on friday but no update from him etc and relayed back from my daughter he is waiting for an evaluation from the agent to send to me - he should be telling me this.
his crazy gf has not apologised to my daughter and had apparantly had a few drinks and got emotional....................Well thats ok then0 -

well I have news ................after the most evasive message exchange and the request of meeting up to discuss rather then doing so over messages x 3 , I have been told that the house will be on the market today
I've made it clear that I expect to be notified of any viewings/offers and to be able to communicate fully with the agent - I hope this part will be straight forward as its being put on the market by a guy we have known for over 20 years.
I don't expect it will sell quickly in the current situation but its by far one of the most reasonable priced houses in the area , i think he must be forgoing the decorating and although i would rather wait until its at its most presentable , he obviously doesnt want too and doesnt want to do the work either,
A similar house on the next street went on the market for 420k yesterday , however its 3 beds and 1 bathroom ( beds being 1 double and 2 smaller) , ours is going up for 425k but has 3 double bedrooms , 1 single and 2 additional shower rooms so im hoping it makes it the more appealling buy.
Need to get going on hammering the debts down , my EF is up to 6675 and although I had orginally wanted to get it to 7k before xmas I think I may leave it as it is and focus on the tesco c/card.
The EF fund is basically my house furnishing etc fund which would be pulled together with my proceeds from the sale , i'd have to clear outstanding debts to obtain the best mortgage so the more I can clear before the sale and my purchase the more remains in this pool.
Made it to the gym last night - have to get back in to this habit but the recent heatwave and the fact i dont pass it too and from work right now make it more difficult to stick too - also a little nervous about the corona risk in this environment - the scales tell me I have gained 7lb during lockdown despite trying to be good with my diet and my long long walks. Fortunately there is no bikini body needed this year but it is a goal of mine and I need to acheive it for my own mental well being so its back in again after work
Money wise I have 180 left until payday , I dont anticipate any large spends but do want to keep the car topped up after the petrol fiasco and with an expensive month next month i'd like to have an excess come pay day0 -
well the house is on the market
it isn't showcased to its full potential in my opinion however its on the market and thats progress from where we started
Now we sit back and see how much this pandemic has affected things and hope someone is on the market for a large terraced family home.
No news on going back in to the office , having a lot on my mind is impacting work and i've made a few school girl errors so I need to regain my focus and not give the boss an excuse to call me back in
Didnt make the gym due to the hours its open and my work going wonky so took a 5.5km walk instead - meant to go this morning but had nightmares last night literally and overslept this morning - so much so i was late to the work conference call
hopefully the day will get better

Hope the house sells quickly and then presumably you will get your share? Where is your daughter going to live or are all your children living elsewhere now?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. Both me and her dad intend to buy 2 bedrooms although i think he will move out the area a lot more then me , she has the option to come with either of us or she may want to be independant and consider a shared house.
I can't wait for her to be sorted considering she is now 24 and look at me , 46 and still at home with my mum
Once the house sells I will get my share.0 -
not much to report
114 pounds left until payday so looking likely to finish the month in profit
Far too much alcohol consumed this weekend - spent fri evening in a friends hot tub.
No progress on house , still just on with the agent he chose , listing littered with spelling mistakes and no floor plan etc
There was a viewing at the weekend but he didnt let me know about this , i learnt about it via my daughter.
Realised I am going to have very little input on this and think I will just have to suck it up
Apparantly he isnt very happy with me as I am rushing him ..................I merely asked him when he expected the decorating to be finished and then as a knee jerk its on the market despite 3 requests to meet for a drink
Man is a clown.
Just need to focus on clearing my plate as much as possible so that I can acheive what I want as and when the sale is acheived

To be honest higher then i would have liked - the eating out/social life total is unusually high , three explainations to this , firstly my daughters birthday meal which cost me a hundred pounds as a family treat , its something i've always done and it wasn't a boris night and it was taken in to account with her gift selection too , 2nd its NM's month of weekends off and we have been getting out alot , we have eaten out quite a bit the majority of which he has covered but i do like to contribute so I've chipped in with the odd weatherspoon lunch , also treat my middle daughter during Mad girlfriend gate too. Off course the Boris deal during August has also made eating out more appealling.
My food/toiletres/misc spend is basically all the little bits , the odd bottle of wine , my vape purchases , shower gel etc and the little personal food spends that soon add up - If I go over to NM's I usually stay around 3-4 days so I do contribute toward his expense here even if its just the odd bit of veg to put a dish together with what he has in the fridge , this is an additional expense as I am paying my mum housekeep but obviously I'm not staying here all week.
She has picked up on this herself so I know its a gain to her however she hasn't offered any reduction and I certainly won't ask for one , I'd like her to use this gain to improve her own financial situation but I've also seen very little evidence of that !!
September is a possibly spendy month , fully expecting some additional commuting expenses at some point and also have two trips away although my contribution has already been made so any extras should be only nominal.
Came home from a few nights away at NM's last night and already feel slightly less upbeat - as soon as I got in I had some difficult questioning from my mum , she asked if I went over to NM's so much as I hate being around her and the house so much . yes it gives me an escape but its purely down to the fact that he works shifts and we enjoy being together so its worked out that I am away for blocks at a time , not to mention the bathroom is clean !! she then asked about the house and whether there had been any devolpments , there haven't been but I felt very much under scrutiny.
This month hopefully will remain in credit with the bank , have reduced both the EE and virgin bill by 10 respectively
I have arranged only a min payment for the tesco credit card as its 0% and will be sending the remainder of the 200 I usually pay over to the very account as the 0% on this runs out in November so I'll get it cleared in the next two months and then set the Tesco payment back to where it was.
I will move 200 over to my savings account and dip back in to it if its looks unacheivable but if i can put 325 away soon I'll be at my 7k target
Then I'm going to batten the hatches down and focus on no new debt and reducing existing as much as possible before the house sells as any debt has to go before I can get the mortgage I need - sometimes it feels like I haven't made much progress since I started the diary however I think if I hadnt had to replace the card I quite possibly would be almost there by now.0
