I second this! I also can't believe he had the gall to ask his sister if he could move in with her! Luckily she appears to know exactly what he is like!Humdinger1 said:Quite right @efes_shareholder. It is never going to happen , I have realised that right now I cannot stand the sight of him and everything he does or says irritates me !!! Its pretty safe to say my effort shelf is empty and there will be no further offers of any kind of assistance from me. Any requests will declined and I cant promise that will be politely
I need some work done on the house which he has said he will do ( and not done ! despite their being a wage in it!) but I would rather pay full whack then get it done cheaply through him !!!!!!
He has said to his dad he felt uncomfortable coming in the house now - I'm not bothered , infact I am glad,
Anyway on to money , this month is concluding with the final wipe of the nose of the xmas spends , also just had a nice weekend away with NM. My everyday credit card got blocked as I forgot the pin so alot of spends out of my current account so until I balance it all up it doesnt seem quite as healthy as it was.
Food shop came this morning , £65 , the freezer is pretty stocked but i need to do a bit of a stock check on everything else. My food stores cupboard of spices , herbs , stock cubes etc is in a bit of a mess so i will do that this evening whilst NM is out visiting a friend in hospital and then tomorrow it will be tins.
I am going to try not to buy until we run out of something rather then have a continual stock available ( guess that is what comes from working in procurment!!)
Back on the diet/healthy eating train too so that always means more costly shops , we had beef stew tonight , did have dumplings but only half the amount we would usually as the pack i could see had already been broken in too
Tomorrow will be Salmon orzo with leeks and baby corn
Thursday carribean curry chicken and most likely chilli pasta bake on friday
The approach will be to stack these out with veg and keep the potatoes / rice /pasta usually served with them to a bare min.

finally we can see the end of January …………..its my birthday tomorrow so something to see it out with although not enjoying those numbers racking up.
Seems like not much has happened in the 7 days since i posted however in the news so far , operation nicotine free is running well , my 2nd counselling session is complete and im feeling the benefits , a new gym with sauna has been identified and asda money off offers have completely thrown the notion of buying when we run out.
No nicotine is going well albeit a challenge. I previously abstained for 10 years so I know what has to be ridden with the waves but oh I do wish i could turn the noise off for what is now a habit more then a dependency
Counselling , i am finding it really helpful. my moods are still erratic but its good to vent once a fornight.
New gym will commence next month , the opening hours are much more suitable but its further to travel. it also has a spa , its also £10 a week more expensive so will need to make that adjustment
Asda are doing £20 off if you spend £60 for new customers , managed to nab two codes so will stock up for feb and hopefully keep spends down1 -
Happy Birthday for tomorrow, hope you are doing something nice, glad counselling going well for you x

thank you everyone for the birthday wishes.
I had a lovely day , dinner at the original Ivy where we had a free bottle of fizz ( apparantly worth £102 which was more then our bill) followed by the theatre.
Drunk a little too much but thats what birthdays are for.
payday today - and distribution of the bills which always hurts !!
