Morning
Sounds like you're really moving in the right direction, you're really sorting things as they occur and sound so much more positive and settled, although it's really hard mentally and emotionally when you've been with someone so long.
Stay strong and focused x
Keep safe and well x

Glad you have popped back - I was hoping that you were having fun with the kids as well as doing dome money making!!
It's good that Ex has got himself a room - he must have got himself some money from somewhere.
It's funny that when our husbands are made to fend for themselves that they can actually do it, I don't know why I feared it so much.
Hope the moving stuff to ex's goes as well as it can.
My WS has announced today that he cant believe I really am kicking him out - I told him its been over a month since I announced I wanted him to leave so why bring it up now. he was so convinced I would change my mind - the twit!!!0 -
Sounds like a fab half term mostly CCC.
sorry to hijack, but EE- what does WS stand for? I can't work it out.Outstanding mortgage: £23,181 (December 19)

Good afternoon everyone
:coffee:
I can't believe that it's after 5pm and I'm only just getting a chance to sit down and catch up on here - so much for Sunday being a day of rest. I got up early this morning and did a bit of marking before I went tutoring. My dad popped round with the stuff belonging to my ex that had been at his house so I could pass in on later, and then I went tutoring...
My 1 hour at tutoring turned into 3, and whilst the money is much appreciated I am now short on time for everything else. Used some of the extra cash I earned to buy the kids a KFC - which I wouldn't have done otherwise - but as I was out for almost 4 hours it was the least I could do for them. I have been saintly and done without as I'm trying to get slimmer.
Got home, picked ex's stuff up and took it to his new place. I didn't stay for long - just long enough to help him carry stuff in and discuss the divorce and finances. I still feel really sad that he's ended up renting a room in a house while I'm living here with the kids, but he needs to find his own way of getting back on his feet again. I have helped him for long enough.
Then popped to bestie's house as she had left her hoody here yesterday and ds's school shoes were at hers as well. So did a bit of a swap. Now home and doing the bare minimum of tidying and sorting out before my lovely cleaning lady comes tomorrow, but I'm about 4 hours behind with exam marking and that's stressing me out. So I'm determined I'm doing at least 2 hours of marking before I do anything else around the house. I have to get ready for school tomorrow, get the kids ready for school tomorrow, prep lunches and dinner for tomorrow and put the recycling out.
All non stop really. Told you I get horrendously busy over exam time - only just over a fortnight until I go to London again...

Thanks for answering SB.
Now that he has left I guess I ought to change his name to just Ex but technically he isnt quite yet as we are still married.0 -
Mine has gone from being my husband to my ex very quickly. However the divorce is underway so I am sticking with it
Just a quick check in from me tonight as I'm very busy indeedy. First day back at school after half term followed by 5 hours of marking exams once I got home. I really haven't had time for anything else at all. This is supposed to be a quiet time at work but obviously there is an awful lot going on and my brain is all over the place trying to keep on top of everything. I still wouldn't change anything though - except maybe improving my financial situation.
I have a counselling session tomorrow. I'm keeping an open mind about it all - I don't feel like I need it but maybe I do. We'll see if I can get it off my chest and feel less guilty about the whole situation. Work have sorted it all out for me.
Other than that - not much to report. I'm doing ok.Not giving up
