@prettyflower: the reward for each DD is £3.50. So 2 direct debits £7. Double reward means £14.

That's what I said already, £3.50 each for first 2 DDs. Therefore £7 for each DD in the bonus reward. So I thought by only having one DD come out last month I would get £7 rather than £14. So that's what I'm unsure of, if I've misunderstood and you need minimum of 2 DD to get any reward. Either way, it still doesn't explain the fee refund before July even finished, and why no fee has been taken today when it should be.

I think the refund is for the fee you were charged on July 3. This will be because you joined part way through June and had no DDs coming out that month. No rewards, no fee.

For July you should get charged the £3 fee and get £3.50 x 2 for your single DD. I expect you'll get 1 x £3.50 and be charged £3 some time today - usually it's done by midday - with the 2nd 'Double' £3.50 arriving later in the month.

I don't think it's the fee refund, that wouldn't be in the BR account, that would go in the bank acct. Perhaps it's a prorated reward?

That sounds similar to what happened to me.
Barclays Blue Rewards account opened on 18 June 2018.
CASS switch incl. 2 active DDs completed on 28 June 2018.
Blue Rewards Monthly account fee of £3 taken from Rewards account on 1 July 2018 prior to any Direct Debits being paid out.
Direct Debits taken on 10th and 13th July.
"Blue Rewards fee refund June" of £3 received in Rewards Wallet on 27 July.
Blue Rewards Monthly account fee of £3 taken on 1 August 2018 from Rewards account .
"Loyalty Reward DD CB" of £7 received in Rewards Wallet on 2 August.
I am expecting the "Double Rewards" uplift of £7 to be paid into the Rewards Wallet by the 20th of this month.
  • So I was just very impatient it seems lol I have now paid the fee today as well as one £3.50 being credited, and after reading other posts I assume the other £3.50 (the double reward) will follow later this month. Still unsure why I had the refund, as the fee I paid on 3rd July is surely my fee for holy
July rather than June. But who knows! Least I know it's working lol

Got my 2nd set of awards of £7. I switched right before the end of June visited the branch 30 June so paid the fee before the switch had happened.

Just an update to my earlier post - Second "Loyalty Reward DD CB" of £7 received in Rewards Wallet on 17 August. I think this is the doubling-up of rewards element which is in place for 12 months as part of the switching offer.

Indeed, a typo error as well, sorry about that.
    Thanks for pointing it out.
    It should have read:
Second "Loyalty Reward DD CB" of £7 received in Rewards Wallet on 14 August
